Well laid out store with separate floors dedicated for men and women. A large collection of clothing, household items, kitchen accessories, home utilities, footwear, stationery and many more. Economical prices with numerous product variations. Easy self check out options.
The store had a very limited selection, quite different from what is shown on the official website. They didn’t even have basic items like light bulbs and table knives. A wasted trip and very disappointing.
I was served today by a lovely lady named Lyn whose customer service was fantastic. She greeted me warmly and made sure I had a bag. Unfortunately, another staff member loudly shouted at her across the store in front of all customers for greeting me. It was rude and unnecessary and hopefully doesn't happen again. Despite that, Lyn stayed professional and kind and seems like a star employee.
There is so much to complain about in regard to the store layout and merchandising, but as a retail professional, there’s one glaring problem with this Kmart. The staff.nThere is one older woman, who is always working the line at the self serve check outs. She isn’t assisting the registers that’s another persons job she just stands on her spot barking orders at the rest of the store. If she’s not yelling at customers to “get back behind the line” she’s being petty or rude with staff. This needs to change.nShe’s running a Kmart checkout, not airport security. Some kindness would go a long way.
In desperate need of a audit or something similar. Love Kmart items but the physical store is terrible. Stock is a mess, everything is mixed up, can’t find anything in the already limited items they stock. Please hire more staff!!!! And the lines are so LONG. I’ve never gone to this store both on weekends and during office hours and never had a line, completely off putting if you need to dart in for one or two things. Please fix!!!
