What would otherwise have been a regular and even enjoyable trip was ruined by prematurely engaged brakes on the trolley. I was simply trying to get to my car when the brake engaged on the lower level of the escalators, causing my trolley to turn sideways at the bottom of the ramp. This nearly caused both myself and two people behind me to fall over the trolley at the bottom of the escalator. These trolleys need to have a wider circle in which the brakes are deactivated for safety purposes. They also need to be able to have these brakes be disabled once you return into the field.
No complaints about the service in store and products. Do they know how to answer a phone though? It rings for 5 min and not one person can pick up? Not good enough. Garden City, Mt Gravatt is the same.
Good place to start if you just arrived in Brisbane and need to buy beddings, cookwares, clothes at very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
I left my driving glasses in the changeroom last week and when I rang Tuesday the section manager checked with all staff present and went searching. Lovely customer service, thank you!
Good experience here. I was served at the checkout promptly and items that I wanted were actually in stock! Also the store layout isn't as cramped as some other Kmarts
Value for money KMart, everything here seems to be affordable for people on budget but need to buy necessary stuff for short stay.

Went in the other night at around 8pm and the team working were absolutely hustling. Love to see them working well. Also they have great stock of all the random Kmart bits and bobs I love so overall great experience. Super friendly and happy too.
My daughter and I just had the worst customer service experience at kmart Toowong. The blonde short haired middle aged woman who appears to be running the checkout ”service” area who I unfortunately didn’t get her name needs to go back to customer service school for basic manners, pronto! When asking for assistance about an item that wouldn’t scan she clearly showed she was annoyed to leave the counter and then waddled over with air of rudeness and general lack of care and then aggressively said “wha doya want?!”she then grunted and seemed unable to open her mouth and communicate like a normal human. She then aggressively jabbed at the scanning machine with a few more grunts, along with an healthy amount of eye rolling and sighing. Strangely, the store wasn’t that full maybe because of the customer service?. There were no cues and absolutely no reason for her rude behaviour. Kmart Toowong you may want to consider retraining your staff in basic customer service skills and a few manners. Very disappointing indeed.
Great place, wide range of choices, cheaper price. Love it.
