Wanting to know if a mobile was in stock I phoned. Was on hold for 8 minutes then told no- one was available to help, call back later then disconnected. Called into the store, got a phone not the one I wanted, it was out of stock. Decided to buy an item my grand- daughter wanted, couldn’t find it, no-one to ask. Going through the checkout which was lined up to buggery, asked the sales person - ‘over near the bikes’. After looking for ages gave up. One last go, asked the low morale, but very nice girl at the door if there were any in stock. She said it indicated 8 but that could mean none! I asked if she could page someone to show me where they were. After numerous attempts without a response we thanked her and left. No wonder people shop online - we are forced to do that.
Website states you have the product, go in to thestore. No they don't, staff won't even bother to look to see if it's out the back. Extremely poor customer service at the Devonport store.Your customers are the reason why you have a job. Start employing people, with people skills. To many young ones who have no people skills. Employe more mature minded individuals, with exceptional customer service skills, instead of unskilled pre-schoolers.
About 4p.m. today I was in K mart Devonport with grandchildren and felt light-headed and possibly dehydrated. The young assistant at the door checking receipts heard me and offered water but didn't have a chair. I said I'd be ok when I have a cold drink in the car ...still feeling offish. She said to the grandchildren to let her know if I wasn't right at the checkout and reiterated again on leaving the store that if I wasn't right at the car to let her know.nSuch care and compassion didn't go unnoticed and I thanked her so much. You have great staff Devonport and THANKYOU.
This kmart is overall pretty good, however they are low on stock a lot of the time and dont have on shelf what they have online, it also can get very busy and overcrowded and the self-checkout machines often break, other than that i love this kmart and it is very good compared to others!
Kmart shopping is next level brilliant. The products are fantastic and the pricing value equally as fantastic. Great to see front door staff checking on COVID check in Tas compliance. Super easy customer service and click & collect. Kmart has just about everything one would need other than major electrical appliances like Big screen TV's, fridges and washing machines which is a pity Because they'd beat the other big retailers hands down for service, price and value.
