A lovely arrangement - accommodation is near to, but separate from, the family house which gives privacy and space. Jo and Richard are delightful hosts and its fun to see the animals! I can highly recommend Kingfisher House and also Jo's cooking. You need a car and Akaroa is a great day trip.
