Really pleasantly surprised with this place! We stopped here only because of the fact we were getting our car serviced in a garage in town and thought to stop.nnA huge seller is the price! I cannot believe a non powered site for 2 people is $24! Cheaper than DOC camps. With that you get a small campsite so everyone is close to facilities. The shower & toilets are spotless, but there aren’t many cubicles. The kitchen is fully stocked.nnI will say, the only negative is that there isn’t really a lot of indoor seating to sit and eat your food. They have one dining table with 6 chairs around it, and a couple of sofas but the table is so low you can’t eat your dinner there really. We happened to arrive on a rainy day a couldn’t even sit outside. They also have laundry facilities which I did not use.nnWould recommend though, absolute incredible value for money!
They accommodated us at the last minute. The facilities were clean and very quiet, and the staff were lovely. We really appreciated it.
I stayed in a cabin which was clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is happy and relaxed.
The Hawera Holiday park sheltered us when all else failed. The manager is great and super friendly! The facilities are nice and the our room was extremely spacious compared to other holiday parks we’ve stayed at. Highly recommend if you’re in a pinch for a place!
Enjoyed my stay, check in super easy, camp caretakers go the extra mile super friendly, facilities great and spotless
