Kiama Shores is located in close proximity to all shops, restaurants, and the beach. Stayed 5 nights in a deluxe king room with a balcony 1st floor. Elevator is provided, which was welcomed. We had a lovely spacious room with modern decor. A comfortable bed and a good-size TV. It included a kitchenette and a roomy bathroom, which was serviced daily. Swimming pool facilities and guest laundry are also available. Unfortunately, the only thing that we were disappointed with was the lack of storage facilities as there were no drawers to place our clothes in and only limited hangers in the wardrobe. Also noticeable was the absence of a full-size table and chairs, which would have been more preferable than the small coffee table and arm chairs provided. Access to and from the motel was easy with ample free secure parking available to guests. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Kiama Shores.
The receptionists were friendly. Rooms were clean, spacious, comfy, well equipped. Heater was good for the weather. This hotel is located in a convenient spot to eateries, supermarket, and is a short walk to the usual touristy sites like the rock pools, blowhole & lighthouse. Was a good stay and had a good night sleep too! The bed was soft and comfy.
The room was spacious, clean, tidy and in good repair. The shower was great a d the kitchen amenities plentiful. The mattress was worn out -1 star, but the service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this establishment, with a caveat about the mattress.
I can only advise people with ANY physical issues to avoid staying here.nnUnfortunately all their beds are very soft and can be described as marshmallow like.nnI stayed for two night and now have to attend physio to try and get some relief from my back pain.nnAnyone who suffers from a bad back will appreciate this review.nnIt would be a good idea for the owner to vary the mattress firmness so some rooms can offer a firmer mattress.
One of the best motels I have stayed at. Just one night. Central location. Quiet. Modern facilities. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Even fresh milk for tea/coffee rather than that awful UHT stuff.
