It was alright. Pretty big compared to other groceries in Footscray area but I prefer their North Melbourne branch. This shop has less range and it's slightly more run down. Having said that, they have a bit of Korean and Japanese food. Also a meat section and fresh vegetables isle. There's a public parking at the back of the store.
Have to spend $10 minimum to use eftpos …I asked if there was an eftpos fee if I spent less than $10 and the lady said no. It’s a supermarket not a casino, greedy….. then when I put my item away the cashier asked to go through my bag, so rude.
20 March 2023 around 17:30, at the exist towards Barkley St, The cash register women offensively went through my mother's walk aider. The manager should have trained their employees to understand that touching or searching customer's bag physically is a big offence.
Excellent range of mostly Chinese groceries, but with a good variety of Vietnamese, Japanese, and Indo-Malay. Good prices and friendly staff.
Needs more of Japanese and Koreans products in the mix since is one of biggest asian supermarkets franchise here in Melbourne.

Has most things you'll want for your Asian home cooking pursuits and even most small restaurants needs. A little dirty though, and the lack of drink choices is bad.

I've been supporting KFL for many years and usually frequent the Kensington store who are wonderful. I went to the Footscray store today with my 7 month old son in his pram. Like most people leaving negative reviews, I also experienced the rude older female cashier at the front desk. She checked my pram twice and tried to check behind my child. I was extremely uncomfortable as she was wearing ripped and dirty single use gloves, rifling through my baby's supplies. Which will now all need to be sanitised. It was a mortifying experience and I sadly will not be returning. As someone who has worked in the retail industry for many years, I completely understand the need to check bags but touching personal belongings and checking behind a 7 month old baby?! crosses the line. I won't ever step foot in that store again.
Amazing, large store, with a huge range of fresh fruit and vege, and every ingredient you could possibly need to cook up a storm! Very good prices too! I'll be a regular here for sure!
