🤓👍 The chicken, while southern in flavour and presentation, has something universally Australian about it. Is the generous coating of fowl flavoured salt on the 'fluffy-as-a-cloud' chips? Is it the way the sweet coleslaw combines with said chips to provide another complex flavour profile? Maybe it's the almost bland but complimentary potato and gravy? Or maybe, just maybe, it's the satisfaction and mouth feel of biting into a perfectly pressure-fried thigh piece. I don't know, but I know what I like, and I like the southern gentleman and his wares.

There is only one word that accurately with great detail describes the moustache man's establishment. It took me 3 pieces of chicken and a large chips with potato and gravy to truly find and locate this knowledge; however I finally believe I may have it. But more on that later... Entering the immediately vicinity of the gentlemen's house of flavour, I noticed a certain buzz around the place with both of staff and patron's of the popular chain. While many people were waiting in line, it seemed that people from all walks of life had all come together in one simple pursuit. I asked myself as I joined the back of the queue; "How could this be so?". The staff with both efficiency and grace quickly dealt with this queue, so my question only had a short time to be answered, but I believe that I had already figured this out. Purely, in plain sight the answer was right there; the old man looking at me, with a knowing smile and good chicken. Actually eating the chicken, should be the 8th wonder of the world. The original and perfected flavour was so well executed with additional spices. It changed my whole perception of potential quality of fast food. Something was just special about what I had eaten. The pure love of the staff member who had created this immaculate piece of food was obvious from the first bite to the last. The chips also were perfectly seasoned and a very fine complement to this. All of this at a low price was just incredible yet somewhat satisfying! Fast food has a reputation built in with the nature of the service. Rushed and unfinished are generally used when dealing with lesser qualified establishments. But somehow KFC has a way to change what you know and associate with something to the exact opposite. And here we are where we begin; because the word I use to describe KFC is simple; Journey. Its the journey ordering KFC which is the reason everything is how it is. Eating it is great and all, but in reality is not why I continuously come again and again. The journey of interacting with the caring staff and patrons completes me. Its simply why KFC is the only place to get some finger licking good food.

Dry taste less shocking, first time I have eaten it in 5 years and it's worse than ever, not remotely close to the tender tasty chicken from 70,s,80,s,chemical commercial product to he avoided.
