The shop is small but the food cooking speed is very impressive. It has both drive through and dining in. I’m a big fan of Lindfield KFC, which I think makes the best KFC in upper north shore. But this KFC in Macquarie is on the same level at the top notch of KFC style fried chickens. up! Not much shops opening at late night. The shop makes the best KFC in lower north shore. Food was fast to prepare and arrive. The young people were attentive and friendly. Venue was a good size, enough room for all the people waiting, and was clean and tidy. Food was well prepared. The chicken pieces are so sizable and well fried that they tasted both crispy and juicy.
One of the few branches which HAS HOT & SPICY throughout. It is right on the main road. Very easy to spot. They have their own dedicated parking with spots for more than ten vehicles. The branch has seating inside and outside for more than thirty people. There is a drive-thru available. Staff are nice and service is quick. Food and beverages are typical KFC fare.
Technically 4.5 as the slushie machine wasn't working. As a self proclaimed KFC connoisseur, this was one of the best tasting chicken feasts. Perfect potato to gravy ratio and perfect oiliness for the original recipe. Perfect start to the year. More than adequate parking. Quick and friendly service. Would recommend +++++++++Food: 5/5
Order #1793 - Anyone who is familiar with “the lucky tender” KFC stories, I think I received these from teenagers after a really confusing Drive Thru experience. Should I eat this?
I had a look at recent reviews and I'm not surprised to find others also having the issue with missing items at the drive-thru. I called in earlier to notify them about this being a persistent issue, the person on the phone was polite. I don't have time to drive back for a refund or to pick up the missing items. I suggest the management of this store to fix this issue as it's been persistent. Sometimes they miss half your order, sometimes they give you extra items probably from a previous customer that didn't get their full order'.
I stopped in around 3pm for a snack. The staff member who served me was pleasant and appeared to be working very hard with little support. The food was fine. The restaurant itself is in a state of decrepitude, only maybe 2 of the dozen lights above the counter work. Ceiling tiles warped and bowing out. Just an awful space to be in, I can’t imagine it would be much fun to work there. It would be great to see the building get some maintenance and make it a nicer place to be in.
We are regulars there. The food and service is impeccable. On one drive through, I was given short a piece of chicken. I told the staff about it at our next visit and he gave us a replacement. That staff, Ronald, was particularly polite on every occasion too. Give him a raise!Food: 5/5
Bit cold inside the restaurant. Luckily there is a small area outside, with glass separating you from the main road, that is a bit warmer. As usual, KFC chicken is always great to eat. Parking: Parking lot is not so big, but enough to handle several cars.
who checks these chain businesses?? I went through the drive through just now & I basically got a lettuce wrap..i ordered a twister meal chicken wrap with salad & pepper mayo...was refused extra mayo & there was like 90% lettuce 10% chicken.... a 5 year old could have put it together... who checks the orders before they're given to the customer...clearly no one! This is what happens when standards slip & nobody looks into the business day to day runnings.... I have photos but conveniently enough...you can't add them here!... no thought about customer satisfaction... all just anout the $$$
I went there at 5pm there was a long line at the drive thru. When I finally went to the speaker. I was waiting 5-10min at the speaker. I was saying hello can you hear me? No response for 5-10min straight. I could also hear music coming out of the speaker. I drove forward and can see the kfc staff member just dancing around. Also the speaker has poor listening skills. I said I wanted the cola box but remove the zinger burger to a zinger stacker. He said yeah that’s fine. I ordered another 3 wicked wings onto of the meals. He read everything out which was fine. When I arrived there and got my food. He said the cola bbq sauce is out which is fine. He offered to change it wicked wings or tender. I said wicked wings. Later when I got home I only received 3 wicked wings when I should have six? Also the cola box meal should have popcorn chicken. Didn’t receive it. It honestly the worst service and I’m surprised these staff member are even getting paid to work. It looks like they r in wonderland. Date and time: 20/03/2023 1730
