Take a look at the photos. The food is beautifully presented. The flavor of the chicken was amazing and it was fried beautifully. Best loaded fries I’ve ever had. Seriously amazing. Highlight of the meal. Bonus: the coffee is great 4 stars because: the waffle isn’t what a proper waffle should taste like. Waffles should be thinner and crispier. This feels like a doughnut. It’s not pleasant to eat. Recommendation: get the loaded fries with fried chicken!
While a simple set up in an industrial area the first thing you notice is the friendly service - so helpful! If you love fried chicken and burgers - this is your place. Lots of American flavours and plenty of spicy chicken in various forms - nuggets, tenders, pieces, on waffles - delicious!
Chicken has spice but no flavour it just hot. Burgers were not bad burgers are better at hungry Jack's lol. Mac n cheese bland. Quiet disappointed. Was expecting better for the hype there is fo this place.
This venue is located within industrial area in Kings Park. A bit hidden from the street so you gotta really look at the ‘Cafe’ sign and ‘Toby’s Estate’ sign. I really love the fried chicken. It’s crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside. The chicken is flavoursome and I enjoyed the touch of the sweetness that balanced the spiciness perfectly. If you can handle extra spicy dish, pick the hot one, otherwise the mild one is just perfect. The Kernul burger aka hot chicken burger is very good. I chose the ‘hot’ option. Warning: it’s quite hot. So don’t try if you can’t handle spicy food : Coffee is awesome Toby’s Estate.
Awesome little place tucked away nicely in a quiet part of a busy town. I had first dreamt about the place when I started following them on insta. Finally got to get myself down there and let me say burger was as good as they look in insta. Mac n cheese hot dog was nice hot dog was a bit hard too chew for my son. Burger and chicken strips and the spices where amazing. Love a deep fried chicken and coleslaw burger and this place does not disappoint.
Best chicken in Sydney is probably an understatement, I’ve travelled the world and had amazing fried chicken but this place smashes all flavours out of the water. The tenders, the wings and the chicken and waffles are truely amazing and the flavour is remarkable. The place is only open for dinner 2 nights a week so make the most of it. I recommend this with full confidence that the food is amazing. But be warned, they are usually busy and the wait is sometimes long but you get rewarded once you open your mouth and taste it.
The food was fairly priced for what you get, there is limited seating available, only 6 tables 3 on the wall with bench seats but they are making do with the space they have, they did forget about our thickshakes that we ordered and if we hadn't gone up to ask and shown them the docket we kept we would've been waiting for ages since they lost our order docket. Good food, a nice little place.
Had a really unexpectedly amazing meal here. The Kurnal Chicken burger was superb and my better half inhaled his half chicken on mild seasoning. Good atmosphere and lovely staff, we will be back!!
Great food the chicken and waffles are delicious very filling. Ketchup can get very busy with can tend to slow down the service. My friend had to wait for something he ordered because they forgot to bring it out with his meal. That seems to be the only issue with what was an enjoyable time.
Friendly staff, food really hit the spot for comfort. Chicken and waffles rates really well as does the poutine. Burger was thick and juicy plus the light toasting of the brioche bun was on point, we'll definitely come back.
