Well, it's wonderful what Google can do for you.nI discovered this on Maps while on break during a conference, in Sydney.nIt's a magic 4 level pub with a roof top bar.nI was in heaven as this place has craft beers on tap everywhere!!nVery quirky ground level bar with animal trophy heads everywhere. Plenty of seating, including a few outside.nOn the in between levels there is the restaurant and kitchen etc.nRooftop bar level is fantastic with plenty of seating and standing options.nThere is a very convenient lift to use if stairs are a struggle.nStaff are very friendly and accommodating.nIt's a very popular place for all ages. Although, the under 40's were prevalent.nHighly recommended.nCheers, Q.
Dined on the rooftop for lunch and it was pumping. I could see a few different functions happening on tables that sit about 8 people. Definitely glad I made a reservation. Footy was on TV and the pizzas were being churned out. We ordered pub meals; burgers, schnitzel, nachos and steak. Had to go downstairs to collect ourselves when the buzzer went off. Meals were standard and nothing flashy but prices were at city rate. A little more than what you'd pay for similar in the suburbs. We all agreed you're paying for the atmosphere and pizza oven up the top. It was a lovely day, with a breeze so I cant complain.nService was fast, and they have an extensive drink and cocktail menu.
Serving size is quite fair. The eggplant parmigiana is ok, but a bit cheesy. Chicken isn't too bad either and cooked quite well. The fish and chips have good portion and priced ok. Very crispy and the salad is fresh.nnThe chips are so-so as one would expect from frozen chips.
The Sunday special, cocktails in a jug for $35 were great.nFood, excellent - value for money, portion sizes were huge.nWe came here for lunch, though started off with the starters and that filled us up quite a bit not complaining. The prawn and chorizo pizza, was amazing!nVenue itself, it’s a hidden gem. Looks like an ordinary run down pub from the outside….. the magic happens as you walk up to the rooftop terrace!
Good pub meal. Shame the booths were so squishy or maybe we were too fat :-
