Good if you get the main boat. Not so great if you don't. Takes a while longer than expected but the ride is nice.

Great day out on the mail run cruise - comfortable boat, informative commentary along the way, and helpful, friendly crew. Island was scenic, although we didn't venture very far due to the weather. Wonderful tea + scones in the café while being entertained by the peacocks and weka, Mansion House full of history. Very enjoyable day out.

An excellent day out 
Fairly packed boat when we left from Sandspit but after dropping off half of the passengers at Mansion House we continued up Bon Accord harbour and then around to the copper mine 
An appetizing steak and salad lunch was served with a beer to wash it down.
We returned to Mansion House  , did the tour  , had an icecream and jumped back on the boat for the return trip. 
Thoroughly enjoyed by all those onboard

Excellent day on the Royal Mail Run, yummy BBQ lunch and the afternoon to walk over to the copper mine and a cuppa.
