Been ages since I've been in. Clean and bright and airy. Staff are friendly and helpful. My experience of their products is that they have always lasted longer that I'd ever imagined. I have never thrown any of my ourchased items away because they'd broken etc.

Went to Kathmandu whangarei to purchase a gazebo but really had no idea what we were looking for. We received excellent service from Mark who took his time to show us what was available and explain what would work best for our needs. Always refreshing to receive great customer service where people really care about the customer and making sure they get what they need. Thank you Mark for your help today!
Great place to visit... but... plenty of stock, all great stuff, but shop layout and stock placements rather shambolic ; with same jackets, and other product sought after, hanging in different places. Stock relocation/shuffle in progress? Good size ranges. Good Kathmandu colour ranges. Moderate clearance stock zone - with excellent price/value. In frustration I found staff happy to help - also troubled by new shop layout policy. Brilliantly, helpful staff - pleasant and patient.
Current english store manager is a huge waste of space for this store! His inability to listen and comprehend to questions is appalling. This guy appeared not interested and couldn't really be bothered to help us out. I've been in this store numerous times and always has brilliant interactions with staff. Dozens of capable people out there who can take on his role and actually do a good job.
Good quality outdoors activity supplier. Tramping/ Hiking equipment and apparel. Helpful staff. From time to time they have good value sales.
