I bought a kayak from Kangaroo Tent City in Castle Hill - They told me it may be delivered by the next Monday and if not the Monday after and that they would call me to let me know when it arrived. I rang up today , two Mondays on, to find out what was happening only to be told that they were not aware of kayak to be delivered. They then looked it up and found the details only to tell me that the one I want hadn't been delivered. They then told me that they would ring back within an hour to let me know what was happening. I waited for more than an hour and received no return call. So I rang up and was informed that they had located one in the warehouse and that someone would go and collect it this Wednesday. They gave me the impression that if I hadn't of rang up I would have received no phone call and no one would have done anything about it. Not what I would call good customer service by any stretch of the imagination. I, for one, will not shop there again.
Not sure about the previous review, as there was a lift with a wheelchair accessible ramp to the side. As well as 14 tents on display at the Castle Hill location. Feels more like a showroom than a store in my opinion. Staff are friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable in their products, a fantastic bonus when it comes to camping and outdoor lifestyle gear. Would highly recommend!!!
Large selection of quality camping gear with a great display of tents. Always have everything you need in there and considered the areas one stop shop for all things outdoors! The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They are always willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Highly recommend Kangaroo Tent City Castle Hill.

The team here have gone above and beyond for me, they have really shown some great customer service. A great range of products too.
No idea why it's called Tent City when there are only 6 tents set up. Far more bbq equipment and campaign sundries such as seats - actually should be called seat city really. On the plus side, there is a lift which is great for prams, not so great for wheel chairs as you have to go up three stairs as soon as you get out of the lift.
