Is definitely very Korean place where many Koreans dines here. Food overall is fine but price wise is not so friendly. Prepare to be "smoked" as they have indoor bbq which truly leaves a strong stench on clothings and hair. Is a casual dining area not for fancy meet up.

Average food but HORRIBLE service

We pre-booked a table via phone and they happily accepted our booking. Sat down and ordered about 10 dishes to share amongst 15 of us. Lady owner came up and blew her temper at us for "ordering too little food" and insisted that we should "at least spend 15 dollars per person". When we politely said that we can't understand as she was mumbling in Korean, she literally slapped one of us and refused to send our orders to the kitchen unless we order more.

I just don't understand. If you are so concerned about losing your potential business because of us taking up your tables (hence asking us to spend more on our meals), why bother accepting our request at the first place?

What a way to destroy a birthday dinner. 
Will never come back again.

Hostile to non-Koreans?
3 out of 3 staffs who served us were impertinent and ridiculously rude.

After we placed our order for food, a staff member came by our table with intangible English, telling us that the food we ordered would not be enough for us- when what she actually meant was we should order more food because there was an unwritten and her self determined minimum spending per pax. She would not leave until we order an extra dish when we were not informed that there was a minimum spending at the start.

Before we could even finish our meal, the staff came to our table and wanted to clear our dishes, when we clearly were still going with them. She passive aggressively instructed us to finish up 3 dishes while she waited by our table to clear the plates. She put a fake smile all the time when she actually wanted you out of the restaurant. Shame. Bear in mind there were many other empty tables with no customer waiting.

KANGNAROO IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU WISH TO ENJOY YOUR FOOD WITH ACCEPTABLE STAFF MANNERISMS.

They certainly do portray the opposite of what you would think of Korean culture.
