Excellent location, facilities, site and service. Really recommended, we fled there from the stormy mountains and it was a relief. The town / settlement is beautifully laid out and charming in the extreme. Nice beaches at lower tides and well patrolled / marshaled by the surf club. Good location for whanganui (a cool town) and Berry Farms ice creams !

Ok holiday park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facilities are a mix of old and new. I didn't like the old and strange showers. It's a 10 minutes walk to the beach.

Lovely camp ground. Have stayed a few times. However, the new management are not people friendly. They are rude and lack people skills. Don't try and go to the shop on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning it open nor is the office. And if you question, how dear you! The young lad is lovely but the owners are not friendly at all. Sadly we won't be back anytime soon.

Beautiful park. Best place we have stayed at since we arrived in nz three weeks ago. Lovely owners. So friendly and helpful. Facilities are amazing. Thanks guys!

The best campground in the area I say! My wife and I loved the place, very safe and the facilities are lovely. The owners cook a delicious fish and chips too and the burgers are to die for! Will absolutely be back.
