Firstly, I’d like to say that I’m being mindful of the fact that I’ve only been here once and the place has a generally good rating. However, I think consistency should count in excellent places and my experience this morning was lacklustre at best. Service was prompt and standard, which is about the only compliment I can give. The my corn fritters were burnt, as was my coffee. I was quite disappointed but definitely feel like I should give the place another try. Nice and central location with a busy atmosphere. There was lots of delicious looking things on the menu and if the execution is better I’m sure some of them would be great.

Situated in a pleasant location the cafe had a nice relaxing ambience to it. The menu seems a little above competitive pricing but offered a relatively good selection. My cup was a bit dirty and I also found a small piece of hair in my food. Aside from that, the food was as expected.

Coffee and food was good. Sat on share table at the back, didn't have to wait long for table which was good. Staff were friendly. Didn't give 5 stars as nothing really wowed me but I liked it hence 4 stars.
