We came all the way from the north shore to try this place and it did not disappoint! Hands down the best fish and chips we have had and the beef burger was insanely good. Fresh crispy fish, amazing fries and the best home made tartare sauce ever. Would recommend this place to everyone and will 100% be returning.
Really great value and quality, I recommend chips with snapper crumbled! I also got mixed salad and aoli sauce
Top quality, reasonable prices. Great range of food, and even a colouring-in table and pics for the kids while you are waiting.
Had the JD's Special Fish Burger snapper $12.90 & regular French Fries $3.50, chips were yum & burger very nice & sat outside watching the sun set, great shop n busy with the locals. Friday 26 September 2020.
Only one in the store but was standing at the counter for nearly 5 minutes before I was served. Food was good though, probably the best burger I've had in a while.
Unassuming place which served some surprisingly good food. Particularly liked the fish and chips and white vinegar was provided with was a nice touch.
Busy place! Super fresh tasty fish. Great value for money. Fish chips and coleslaw for $10, hotdog $3.50

My craving for fish and chips was well satisfied from here; today’s fish-tarakihi was solid, light and crispy batter with good portion of fish. Reasonable price and friendly service. Will be returning soon.
