I am disappointed and disgusted. I went in asking for a TRIM, but came out almost bald!! I am embarrassed to be walking the streets with this silly hair!!! Not sure why hairdressers think it's ok to do what THEY want, not what the customer has requested!! There was alot of arrogance and conceit whilst chopping my hair, the attitude was over the roof. Who decides on giving him the Awards? Blows my mind!! What was missing? Consultation, Listening and Respect!!

I spent 4 hours with a beautiful young woman named Emma she did a full head of foils the night before i was off to the Melbourne cup on a cruise and she did a amazing job, considering my hair had been coloured throughout covid with box colours she got it so light. I'm hoping I can see her again before Xmas. Services:&nbsp;Hair coloring

I visited John Azzi today. I had a scoopon voucher which was for a cut style, wella treatment and a full head of balayge or highlights. I was a tad nervous because the reviews on here from people with Groupon vouchers are quite negative. I expressed this right at the beginning that I wanted to know what costs I was getting upfront and John said there wouldn't be any surprises at the end. I was really happy with the cut and style but couldn't decide whether to change my colour as I paid quite a bit of money 4 months earlier to go lighter at a different salon and I was nervous to change it. In the end I decided against colouring it even though I'd paid for it in the voucher and we just did toner to take down some of the orange tones. I'm unsure whether I received the wella treatment either - maybe that was the shampoo? head massage was lovely I almost fell asleep I got charged $60 at the end for a long hair surcharge which I thought was a bit much considering on the voucher it says $20 extra for long hair. Also John said he would add the colour to my file but I'm unsure whether that means I can come back and claim the colour at a different time? Anyway I was pretty happy with the end result! Kind of kicking myself I didn't trust John and just get the balayge done in the end!

John and his team did a fabulous job on my colour,cut and blow dry. Not only did I receive star treatment service with a smile. There was so much attention to detail and professionalism throughout. Great vibes and service I would highly recommend them.Services:&nbsp;Hair coloring

Was a lovely service! John did a very thorough job as I have very thick curly hair and he gave the best head massage while I got my hair washed and was a trooper blow drying all of it so well. I have never been happier with my hair colour before. He was very professional and amazing from the beginning. I was welcomed by a nice lady and she offered me drink. I got my hair coloured,washed and blow dried. Hands down the best salon you can choose Service:&nbsp;Hair coloring

I got referred here by The Hyatt Regency and I walked away completely heart broken. Despite asking John to keep my length on my waist length hair, he agreed and then proceeded to chop my hair right to my shoulders ignoring what I asked for!! Later started to style my hair and told him not to use lots of hairspray and I walked away with hair that was so stiff and terrible! And then got charged $200 for it! I’m completely shattered and after some thought and reflection I’m posting this review so others are aware that whilst he may be a good hair dresser he has no regard for what the client wants. I don’t know how else to say this but I feel so violated! Years of me growing my hair and then to have someone just chop it off without me even giving them permission! I didn’t say anything at the salon because I was processing and was just in shock…. Completely ruined my night out and my trip to Sydney… don’t go here unless you want to leave all the decisions in his hands.. he won’t listen to you…despite agreeing to it. He’ll just do his own thing

I would highly recommend this salon to everyone, amazing staff, service and results, and I'm pretty fussy with my hair.  I couldn't be happier with the outcome after they fixed / rescued  my hair from another salon's disaster.  Definitely worth the 5 stars and more.

John Azzi absolutely ruined my hair. I went from long, black hair to short, platinum blonde hair and throughout the process John was dishonest and didn't care at all for the health of my hair – he only cared about money.  I was told they would be using Olaplex but found out 3 appointments later that they had not used it throughout the bleaching process, which is why my hair ended up breaking off.  There was some small breakage at the back of my head before a roots touch-up appointment, and I was told it would not get any worse. I went ahead with the roots bleach. Turns out that about 1/3 of my hair fell out and broke all across the front, top, back and in between. John tried to hide the damage when blow-drying by parting my hair on the side and it wasn't until I called him out for it that he said it would be fine with treatment which is a lie because the hair is already broken? It cannot be "fixed" with treatment?.  Later when I requested a refund, John was rude and made it very difficult for me to get my money back. He walked out of the room mid-conversation, said he was more upset about my hair than I was which is impossible, since it was MY hair. In the end he only gave me a partial refund after weeks of me calling, texting, going into the salon, and following up.  I will never be returning to the salon and would never recommend the salon to anyone. They only care about making money and will not take care of your hair long-term. They are dishonest but fool you because their prices are high and they look fancy – do not be fooled.
