I have driven past this place a million times and finally decided to have dinner there. This is your good ole fashion local family restaurant with great food, wonderful ambiance and cosy atmosphere. The staff were super friendly. Pizza and calamari was good. We saw the schnitzel when we were paying and it looked amazing, so will try that and a pasta next time. Thanks for having us.
Best Italian restaurant in the area and undoubtably best interior. Owners are very welcoming and friendly. Alcohol is very reasonable priced as well, although they allow customers to bring their own wine for a small corkage fee. Highly recommended!

Prices have gone up since our last visit which adds to the overall bill total. The food was definitely not as good this time round and we waited an hour and a half for it whilst others who came after us got theirs before we did. Really took the shine off a special occasion... not sure if it's worth coming back. It worked out to $40 a head for pizza and pasta so we could've gone somewhere fancier for that price! We all had upset tummies the next day too. Disappointing.
Small lovely pizza restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and cool decorations. We get free garlic bread a complimentary which is crunchy yummy, home made is amazing.
Imagine keeping the same, fully authentic, fully Italian Australian food coming out every plate almost every day for 50 years! Thats over 12 500 days and many more plates of the best Italian pizza and food, not even counting takeaway! I can't promise you will get in but I can promise that if you do, you will not go away hungry, nor will you be dissappointed!
Joe’s a miserable old man who should retire and leave the front-of-house customer service to someone else. I tried to order on the way home from the beach and told Joe that my husband would pay when he came back to collect the order. I was told that I had to pay on order and should have taken money to the beach with me. Not sure how what I was asking would have been different had I ordered over the phone. It’s a shame because we’re local and have ordered this way from Joe’s in the past - Joe’s just become more grumpy over the years. I wasn’t going to stay there and be lectured by an old man on what I should have taken to the beach, so we left.
LOVE THIS PLACE !! A wonderful family owned and run business, been there for decades and I've gone since my early years, nothing but good things to say Wholesome, hearty, beautiful Authentic Italian food You enter and immediately become a member of their family and you NEVER leave hungry! Fun, family oriented atmosphere, full of all of Joe's quirky collections Always a joy and pleasure going there Totally recommend if you haven't been
we experienced rude staff who served other people before us despite us standing at the counter while picking up our bland pizzas. suppose you can't expect much from a pizza shop that can't even make even slices!!!
Such a great family owned venue. Have been coming here for the better part of a decade and every time is great. Super relaxed atmosphere and love the owners. Can definitely tell it's a family business
