Great wine selection…cellar door wine competitively priced and delivered the next day. I also had to discuss my order upon receipt and Jim’s were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!!
Not recommended for online purchases. Bottles were not packed properly leading to two bottles smashed in transit. There was no cardboard placed between the glass bottlesas has been the practice for the last 100 years so glass bottles bang against each other during delivery. Emailed them twice with no response. Entered enquiry online and still no response. They completely ignored polite enquiries. Their "returns and refund" policy on website is not worth the pixels it is displayed on. With so much competition in the liquor market, there is no need to put up with this. Will vote with my mouse and be ordering elsewhere. Very disappointed with my experience.
I recently had an issue when my parcel was being sent to the wrong address by AUSPOST and they sorted it all out for me within 2 mins on the phone and sent a new package. A big stress relief as the package was a present for a friend. My own deliveries to myself have always come fast and efficiently AND the prices are great too! 10/10 would recommend
Great range of wines. Stocks Magnums! Lovely selection of top end wines for those looking for something special. Staff aren’t really that helpful though. Someone with great knowledge would probably make me spend double in a place like this!
Huge selection that includes wines I haven't seen at the big chain liquor stores, at very good prices. As with all alcohol sales prices vary over time, but everything is competitively priced overall. There seems to be a very strong selection of European varietals though I am no expert by any means and parking and access is really great- a lot easier than going to a bottle ship in a mall and having to negotiate chaotic car parks with a full trolley. Highly recommended store, though service was not the type in smaller cellars where a staff member will volunteer advice. This is more of a warehouse cash n carry vibe- which is fine if you know what you are looking for.
Jim's at waitara has a phenomenal range of wine, beer and spirits. You're guaranteed to find something that you've never tried before amongst the sea of bottles. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and they always have plenty of tips and first hand tasting experience to help make your choice that little bit easier.
