I’ve been a number of times and always been happy with the results.nSome people complain in their google reviews about how long it takes. Of course it takes longer, it’s a training dental campus. This is actually a good thing, as everything is checked by the supervisor, which means nothing gets missed. If you don’t have time, then pay double and go to a private dentist.nI’ve always had really friendly dentists. Today I had Aleena and her supervisor Dr. Ryan who were both very friendly.nAnd I’ve also always been called back when I’ve left a message. The reception staff have been helpful whenever I’ve been.

In any case, the receptionist is too unhelpful. They don't look at past records and don't know anything. They make appointments that they don't understand, and they are inflexible anyway.nThey are not very good at answering the phone, and it takes a long time for them to call you back, so you have to wait more than they told you.nIt is a pity that the adults who work there are dragging the students down, because they are very polite and do their best.nIt is a great service for people who don't have the money to see a regular dentist, but it is still a shame that they have no respect for the people who come to them and are discriminatory.

I've been going to JCU dental since 2019 after recommendation from a friend. Always have a very good experience with enthusiastic caring students. they are well supervised by senior staff. Much better experience than a few Cairns dentists. The booking system can be a difficult at times but not the fault of receptionists who I have always found efficient and friendly.

I went to JCU to get a two teeth bridge. I had a 2nd year student, she  went through a slow check of each tooth , she then  started jamming a pointed probe into every gum above and behind each tooth which I nearly got up off the chair from the pain, asked her why she said to check for him disease, I said I’ve never had this painful exam before, she said dentists don’t do this but if I want the bridge I have to to  go through all that and 3 fillings. I have had a check up , xray at my dentist only recently and everything was fine , just needed the bridge. I am not going back to have any fillings there, God only knows she’ll put the needle up my sinuses instead of my gum and say oops sorry. Three hrs for that is torture. Unfortunately they have to work on patients for that time to get marked and we have to get things done we don’t require  or no getting a bridge , that’s the procedure she told me. I’m absolutely discussed just to get a bridge cheaper than the dentist I have to go through that. Never Again

Great service from the students at JCU. I had Katie and another girl whose name I can’t remember. They were super professional, relaxed, knowledgeable and highly recommend.
