Hello, I purchased a vehicle from JBH Car Sales on eBay 3/3/2019 and promptly paid within 12 hours after placing the winning bid. I dealt with Ash Kaur, who was initially very helpful during the sales process. I asked however, whether the service manuals and service history would accompany the vehicle as stipulated in the advertisement to which I was assured they would. The vehicle did require some repairs to obtain a roadworthy certificate but I understood that I purchased ‘as is’. I have made numerous follow up calls and sent emails to Ash subsequently, only to be told initially that the service books were at the car valet company and he would retrieve them and send them later - I am still waiting for a call back from him or his manager.  I have no option but to share my case with the consumer watchdog as I have acted in good faith and been very disappointed with their false advertising in the original advertisement and lack of complete delivery of all stipulated items. To make matters worse, they opened an unpaid item case with eBay on 18 March which affects my standing - I can’t understand that as I have proof of quick payment and they shipped the vehicle to Sydney! Dodgy, avoid!

We just purchased  an Audi A4 Turbo from JBH Car Sales. We were helped by Ash, The whole experience was really good from start to finish and we are  happy with the car. He made it an easy process and  could answer any questions, I know a lot about the navigation system! Thank you JBH Car sales.

I received second chance offer for a car I was outbid on Ebay, We agreed on price and I even had them sign a sales agreement as I live interstate and need the car sent to me. Shortly after receiving the agreement and making the payment to their account I notice an email in my junk filter saying that due to unforeseen circumstances they are unable to proceed with the sale. For some reason he didn't feel that a phone call to advise me of this before I made payment would be more appropriate than email, now I have to await them to return my money and because it is tied up in their account I am unable to purchase another vehicle this weekend. No apologies during my call with the when I showed my frustration about the massive inconvenience caused, now I cant purchase another car this weekend due to them having my money. My Funds were returned to me a few days later, apparently an idle issue with the vehicle which really should have been noticed prior to listing the vehicle. I was not advised of the actual issue at the time nor was I offered to proceed with purchase as is at current or reduced price or to have the issue repaired, instead they broke contract and sold it to someone else.

Bad experience with this dealer be very wary and have an independent inspection done . Had problems with car from outset less than 50km driven and 3 ignition coils failed water in spark plug wells, so car sat for a week not able to drive it until parts arrived. Got the car going again long enough to get a rwc done only to have the car start overheating in traffic at slow speeds and idle. I have emailed and phoned for some kind of explanation only to be fobbed off, was basically told not their problem no offer of compensation not $1. This car was purchased for my 65 yr old mother who paid cash on pick up it wasn't an expensive car but the write up and condition report by JBH carsales stated words like brilliant smooth and excellent this car is none of those things words more suited are problematic, lemon and misrepresentation are more suited to its actual condition. Yes they obviously sell a lot of good cars too but I didn't get one of those. My mother is now currently without a vehicle to get her to work or do her shopping or make any of her medical appointments. Thanks JBH for such a pleasant purchasing experience and such great customer care. Could swallow these problems if they happened 3 months down the track but not day one on the trip home. Disgusted and very disappointed.

We bought a car off these guys sight unseen as an interstate customer. I bought my used car with JBH and it was a EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!! The car arrived right on time. They made sure it was clean and the service was Fast, professional, courteous and on-time.

My friend recommended these guys after seeing some of their cars on eBay. Probably the best things she's done for me as I got a great car that I'm  absolutely in love with. I called them to ask a question about the Bluetooth and they couldn't have been more helpful. Patient and willing to help. Thanks guys!
