The worst car mechanic shop in Canberra. Think 5 times before giving your car to this people. Check the quotes 3-4 times otherwise they will rip you off. Just went there for road worthy certificate and ended up paying $1000. Highly advised to find alternative options rather than going here. ……… This is in response to your comment below. I took my car to somewhere else, it has already passed the roadworthy certificate. The mechanic said, there is no need to change the seat belt at all. Just to make aware others please cross check the quote before giving your car here.
I've been in the auto industry for over 10 years now and personally using/recommending these guys for the past 7ish years of that. That ended as of last week, place really needs a turn around back to how it used to be before it changed owners. Edit: - No demands were made, so interpret it as you will. - Vehicle was actually not unroadworthy as when the 'failed' part was cleaned down there was no damage evident. You passed it after it was cleaned down, so glad I didn't get you to replace the part. - You also did the rego inspection in the wrong state and made it a bigger deal than it needed to be to do what was actually asked of you NSW Pinkslip booked over the phone and NSW registration listed on your intake form at the start of the day - There is pricing difference between registration inspections in ACT and NSW and refuasal was made of refunding the difference despite it being your fault. I'm not worried about the money, it's about what is the correct and legal thing to do.
After being sent away from several auto repair shops including the dealer and being told the repair job would be expensive and couldn't even be looked at for more than a month the Jaws guys said no probs leave it with us we will let you know. Vehicle was dropped off late afternoon and the job was done by early morning next day and much much less than some of the others suggested. Extremely happy client, awesome business.
Don’t get your rego check done here they find things others don’t like factory window tint being too dark! No one else had a problem with it! Rego done no problem.Then to top it all off they say we will call you with a quote to fix these “defects”. No one ever called. Looking back I’m glad they didn’t!
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, don’t waste your time and money here. Ripped off and ridiculously overpriced. Having also read through other customer feedback - as a business it’s shameful that you can’t even handle a lot of criticism about your services and respond professionally and openly to meet the needs of customers and their concerns. Rude and unprofessional.
Will tell you to change tires if you want a pass in roadworthy... now I know how I got an emergency appointment for roadworthy. .
Went to get my interstate road worthy certificate. Was quick, efficient and affordable.
Beyond disappointing. Left my vehicle for a LHF wheel bearing repair. Receive an invoice for a wheel bearing and a starter motor. No call regarding starter motor, no quote given. Refuse to acknowledge their error or breach of fair trading. Left with the threat of vehicle that wont start if full bill not paid. Won't be recommending them to anyone. No concept of customer service. Rude reception staff who state its not their problem.
Friendly staff. I've had several roadworthies done here over the years, and they always fit you in often at the last minute!, and aren't out to try and make your life difficult for a few extra bucks. Definitely would recommend for roadworthies. 5 stars
Good prices, friendly and enthusiastic staff.
