They got super busy out of nowhere and struggled with service, full restaurant 1 service staff plus 2 owners I believe.nAmbience is reasonable, nothing fancy.nFood is tasty but on the expensive side and the grill dishes lack balance between meat and rice salad etc. Zataar bread really good.nHara Batata looked nothing like the menu description and was under whelmingnFalafel was good and the trip dips good too.nCalamari was reasonable.nBeef grill was disappointing, not cooked well and it was definitely not porterhouse rump is my guessnChicken grill platter good favour but not enough chickennLamb seekh was the best of the grill platters still not great.nApricot chicken was good.nQuinoa salad wa so so.nBiscoff is as good..nOverall reasonable food and a bit on the pricey side for portion sizes. Food was great! We had the Chicken Apricot and Beef Meshwi.nnThe Chicken Apricot was amazing! My first time tasting it, will definitely order it again.nnThe Beef Meshwi was mid, good portion size, but the beef itself didn’t have flavour that popped. What i did like about it was how tender the beef was, very well cooked. And there was complimentary sides that i dipped the beef in and it elevated the taste.nnThe waitress did a great job too, she was friendly and attentive to our needs. Give her a raise!
First time for us at Jawhara. Very delicious food, our entres already promised great things to come, and we were right in our anticipation: the lamb couscous was perfect, both tagines were very flavoursome and the deserts very lovely.nStaff was very friendly and helpful, the ambience is nice and as Moroccan as it could get here in Perth.nWe certainly will be back to try more of the delicious food on the menu.
A beautiful restaurant with a good selection of Moroccan dishes. We went in with no expectation, and came out happy and full. Very nice set up and decoration with delicious food. We ordered the Seafood Tagine and the Grilled Prawn. Both dishes were well presented and satisfying.
Food was absolutely yummy, we loved it. The ambience looks soothing loved their color combo of the interior and deco. Definitely coming back soon!
