It was really good! Nice foods and drinks also very friendly staffs. I highly recommend this place when you come to Paddington. This is the right place for coffee, food and drink and then you can have a look the clothes or antique shops after having lunch here.
Didn’t have a pleasant experience in this cafe. I ordered smashed avo and add halumi cheese - this is the first cafe I go that charges $7.20 for 3 little pieces of halumi. The avocado wasn’t fresh and neither tasty. Definitely not worth $30.10 in this meal. Apart from my meal, I ordered a coffee, a hot chocolate & a baby chino - the staff charged me over & also didn’t give me the correct changes. I’m definitely not coming back.
We got veggie big breakfast, avo smashed & truffled mushrooms All were ok The thing I didn’t like about this place was their service Take long for them to clean table, bring the menu and cutlery!
Service was quick and friendly. Food and coffee was just ok, food just was all a little lack luster in taste and seasoning.
JAVA DIVE....This used to be a warm and friendly local cafe with good coffee and meals, however when I visited after a while in April 2023 I was met with rude, lazy waitstaff. Lazy Imogen and Harry would not allow my son and I to order drinks half an hour before closing time becuase they were "about to close." When I checked their opening hours they agreed there was half an hour left, but they just could not be bothered serving. Imogen's unfriendly attitude left my six year old son to say "she wasn't a nice lady." Don't attend this dive of a cafe unless you want a serving of a rude attitude
I've been going to Java Lounge for about 10 years and have always enjoyed the experience. The coffee and food are always good and the management and waitstaff are very helpful and friendly. Java Lounge is dog friendly and there's a real 'neighborhood' vibe.
Good food..... very poor service. The guy taking my order, became distracted by a friend who came in. I had to repeat my order 3 times. Came very close to saying look don't worry about it. When l received my order.....one of the staff came beside my table...sweeping the floor and tidying up. I was on a personal phone call and she hovered around my table for a good 5 minutes. It would be better to clean up when you are closed. Give customers your full attention.
The coffee wasn’t great. We got the affogato, iced coffee and #2 frappe. The frappe was nice but the coffee was quite bitter and cabinet looked a little dullFood: 2/5
My saving grace when I have had a busy day and they are still open at 2pm. Delish coffee and food
My favourite coffee shop in Brisbane. delicious food, friendly staff and the coffee is the best. Love the cool, laid back vibe. Highly recommend.
