Japara Noosa Aged Care

I personally would never ever recommend NOOSA Nursing Centre to any one EVER ! Sections were placed on them when Profke owned it after my mother was bashed in her own room , Google for yourself : Refer to Woman Bitten - Full write up that Profke denies it happened yet it did as 6 month Senctions were placed on NOOSA Nursing Centre & Government Manager was appointed ! I'm the Doughter of the Woman Attacked DRAGA HOLZL was her name my mother. The DON -Director of Nursing then was : Mr.Steve Leggett !! Later when JAPARA bought the place after 12 unsupervised falls 14 stitches to her head showing the skull , fractured eye socket , broken fingers , fractured vertabrie but that was said to be except by the new DON Joe Hardy then in her letter! Yet after my complaints with Age Care Investigations it was clear that is NOT exeptable as NNCentre Management were given 9 Days to comply by Age Care Complaints Investigations ,or else !! But it was to late for my dear mother, Draga Holzl died in my arms ! . Lack of staff and heartless top heavy Management Mr.Paul Shields running all the ProfkeCentres , who intimidated me & switched my mothers paper work after : I had to drive 55km to see my mum to call Ambulance to NOOSA Nursing Centre at 9.30pm as night staff could not speak English & Nurse was to busy to attend to my mother yet my mother had temperature but he was not interested . My mother was made to sleep on her recliner we bought her from which she kept falling of & consequently fracturing her back but Manager Mr.Paul Shields & DON Jo Hardy then refused Bariatric Bed or extra help even after her own DOCKTOR & Nambour Hospital asked in writing she needed it. She was made to sleep on her recliner with fractured back for months & continued falling on her knees as she fell a sleep falling forward hitting her head & kept on hurting her back as per picture evidence I wrote in desperation to JAPARA - ASAG - CEO Mr.Andrew Sudholz in Melbourne, begging for help , Only to get their Solicitor threatening me with drummed up lies . Not one person was interested in what I had to say & to add Management organised Security Officer in front of my mothers room to keep me away & told staff not to talk to me or else! . Paul Shields cut down my visitation time so I could not help & visit my dear dying mother. I was banned from coming after 5pm & could not help my dear mother who was in excruciating pain with a fractured back and Andrew Sudholz Solicitors kept threatening me with drummed up lies including threatening me to take my Enduring Power of Attorney away from me & drumed up lies about me to try and discredit me , My mother was in desperate need of Bariatric needs equipment & Air matrace to be able to sleep on due to her fractured back pain. Nambour Hospital was willing to lend her the Air Bed FREE OF CHARGE , yet the Management of ASAG JAPARA REFUSED the FREE air bed that she so desperately needed to stop falling to the floor on her knees face down in her room of her recliner with 14 stitches on her face showing her scull from the huge cut in her head after the 12th fall with her fractured back , broken fingers , black knees from falling on them , fractured eye socket etc the pictures speak of the horror for themselves! I would never ever recommend this Centre or any Centre this company runs . Poore Nurses & Carers staff that were there who eventually left due to bad conditions even after staff complaints to NEW manager fell on deaf ears by JAPARA ! Please find out for yourself Google the CEO's name & see the $900.000 per year pay with bonuses he gets yet the centre had no Bariatric equipment & is extremely short staffed beyond comprehension ! My mother died in my arms after I watched her dying slowly loosing over 30kg as she could not eat & watching her body in horror eat itself . My mother died way to early 😓😓 taking her last breath in my arms at Nambour Hospital after I begged to have her moved there yet Management did not believe me she was dying and she needed 24 hour care .........Disgusting !

Our parents are so happy at Noosa Aged Care. Staff are excellent and caring. There are loads of outings on a bus that is well catered for and the staff most attentive. Exercise classes; hoy; cooking classes; craft classes the list of activities is extensive. The folk feel safe and secure. However, we would say that the description is not as accurate as perhaps it might be. There is a pool which is in the courtyard, only one or two people use it as the pool isn't suitable for elderly people. The manicured lawns and gardens are not very extensive and therefore there is no where at all for the oldies to sit outside. So they feel a bit trapped. Hopefully with the new renovation works these issues will be addressed. Our fingers are crossed, we would then have a perfect environment.
