A big thank you to Haydn and the team at Japan Package Tours. We have recently returned from a wonderful experience travelling through Japan. The itinerary was very full, and while we skipped a couple of things we got to see most of the sights Haydn recommended. We were both overawed with the beauty of Japan, and the number of people, especially during golden week.. The trains were fabulous, a great way to get around. The accommodation Haydn selected was very good – the Japanese stays were very good, as were the Western style hotels. Food, and suggestions around railway stations was helpful early, and we ate very well all through the trip. Everything Haydn planned went smoothly, and we had a great time. Again, thanks Haydn and your team.
Thanks to Haydn for a great itinerary for our trip to Japan. The detail he gave us regarding our train travel, the hotels booked & their location, tours, etc ensured our holiday less stressful & enjoyable. Would certainly recommend Japan Package Tours. Lois C.
Our tour organised by JPT was fantastic. The accommodation and tours were great. Haydn advised us what sites to see and which trains to book with our JR pass. Japan is very clean and the people were very helpful directing us to the correct train platforms etc. Wonderful trip.
What an absolute disappointment. We read the reviews on here and were excited to have someone organise a hassle free tour for us. We met with Haydn 8 weeks ago, after 7 weeks, had heard nothing, no intinerary, no quote, no contact. I called on Wednesday of week 7 and was told by Haydn that all was organised and he would email it that day. Thursday I called again he said it would be emailed that day, called again Friday, no email. On Monday I called again he responded that he was dreading my call that day, and i was then confronted with a barrage of abuse lots of swearing from Haydn as he was so under pressure he had to work all weekend and was so busy with lots of swearing finally he apologised after i told him I had never experienced such unprofessionalism and rudeness. I told him I expected the items by end of day. At 4:40pm monday I received a call from Haydn to say email had been sent. He apologised again but when I told him that his behaviour was incredibly unprofessional he responded, I have apologised, what else do u want ! . That evening we looked at the itinerary and it was a complete mess. Missing a day in the first week then having all the dates and days mixed up. In the end we dumped Haydn and his itinerary as the hassle to approach him again and point out the problem was beyond any experience I wanted and to top it off the quote was very expensive. Cannot recommend this company at all.
Just returned from 18 days tour in Japan, organized by Haydn. Comprehensive, detailed, tailored. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend their service! It is so professional and Hayden's knowledge is so thorough. Given all Japanese travel offices in Melbourne have closed their branches, being able to rely on Japan Package Tours for friendly in-person services was so appreciated. I definitely will call on them again!

Highly recommend Japan Package Tours, especially if you are a first timer to Japan. Our 3 week trip was amazing and ran so smoothly with the help of JPT. Haydn and his team put together an incredible itinerary that included everything we wanted to do and provided every bit of info we needed to know right down to which trains to catch. Customer service was also to a very high standard as every query we had was answered in a timely and professional manner. Would definitely use them again!
