The fish was next level good but all the other dishes were quite ordinary and the food took a long time to come even on a quiet night- hope that means each dish has been cooked fresh!
All the dishes were nicely presented, pretty tasty and freshly cooked, however to me were too sweet. The serving size could be a bit bigger for the mains.Recommended dishesSoft Shell Crab Bao
Great food but a bit pricey. We ordered Ululu pork and it was great! Normally I don’t go for sweet savoury dishes but this one was so out there in a good way. I would order this again. We also ordered bbq duck and it was good but nothing extraordinary. The satay entree was to die for. The spring roll was also good. Overall it was a great lunch but it was expensive. Definitely will have to tone down the orders the next time we are there. Though, they have lunch menu that looks affordable and simple which could be an option if you’re on a budget.
Discovered Jao Jorm over a year ago and have introduced many others to their amazing food. Never disappoints. The prices are so reasonable, the food so fresh and beautifully presented. The service is excellent. A very busy place so book.
We have been to the restaurant many times since it first opened. Last night we arrived at 6.20pm didn’t get our starters until after 7.15. Our mains arrived at after 8pm. A table next to us who arrived at just after 7pm had their meals served 10 minutes before us. Look our food was great but we will not be coming back. There was yes we are sorry and I can allow it was a Saturday night. But if you are that busy stop taking phone orders and service the customers that have chosen to eat in. Very very disappointed
I can die happy now. What a fantastic restaurant with the best Thai food in Brisbane. Silky piggy with roti. Tom yum. Beef massman. They are all incredible dishes. We fight over the leftovers!
This Thai restaurant is one of the best I've found in Brisbane. The massaman curry is falvoursome and so creamy. All the dishes are beautiful and large portions. Staff are friendly. I won't eat Thai anywhere else now as I can't compare it to how good the dishes are at Jao Jorm.
The menu is quite varied. The taste of the dishes were good. I ordered online, it was super easy to use and friendly. The fruity duck and the drunken noodles were yummy. But there is another Thai restaurant opposite to Moorooka train station and I have to say that it's much better and with more generous portions
Table of 6 of us food came out very slowly one at a time others had finished before others God there's. Tables around us was never cleaned with dirty plates all night. I'm sure that most meals were being defrosting in the h e microwave thats why the long wait. Never againFood: 2/5
This is currently my favourite Thai restaurant in Brisbane. I live in the inner city, and will bypass all of the supposedly award-winning restaurants hereabouts to eat at Jao Jorma. If you're a fan of chilli basil chicken, this place should be your Mecca.
