James Nash State High School is located in the Wide Bay Region and services the communities of Cooloola, Tiaro and Kilkivan shires. Set in bush surroundings on the northern outskirts of Gympie, James Nash High was founded in 1977 and has a growing enrolment which will stabilise at between 850 - 950 students in the second half of this decad

Favourite highschool I went to so far, it was really good and most of the teachers I've met are really nice. The one staff member who I very much dislike is Corinne Owen, she is the ysc and she is awful. She's caused me to have multiple anxiety attacks and also talked bad about me after I left literally like a month ago. Other than her and the head of year 9, the school is awesome and I would totally recommend to others, just watch out for Corinne.
This school is good if you enjoy drugged up kids and fights, its only really good if you know no-one, dont talk to anyone, or if your just dead and rotting in the graveyard next to it. Other than that ig the Tuckshop food is alright. and some kids also pull down their pants so if you like that then ig you can come here. 5 stars
Both my children and grandchildren went to James Nash high school. I still have 1 grandson at the school. My other grandson graduated nearly 2 years ago and now he's in the Australian Navy. Would recommend the school to anyone.
Ive enjoyed attending school here, have made good friends, and succeeded academically. There's not too much wrong w/ the school, I think they're trying to hard to make themselves seem like a private school w/ strict rules. I love James Nash because they've let me be myself, they haven't discouraged my education just because I'm a queer student w/ an alternative appearance, I'd hate to see people in the future being stifled by the school.
James Nash State High School? More like JAMES TRASH. Literally dirtiest school ever, rude and weird kids, teachers that don't teach you ANYTHING. L school never wanna ever go back to this school in my life Were not even allowed phones either? Stupid phone policy tbh
Great school for arts and drama. The teachers are amazing and THE ACA programme is excellent
This review comes courtesy of a friend that attended. From bongs in the boys toilets to bare knuckles fights, everything happened there. I also heard recently that a bunch of kids brought knives to school because there was gonna be a “gang war” Also, during a cooking class years ago, a teacher let a kid make pot brownies. In conclusion, full of drop kicks and drug addicted teens.
Love this school its been 3 years since I wasthere, it proves at the school there are no trop kicks except for some of the kids, but the teachers are lovely always learn from the teachers.
Its a pretty good school except the tuck shop is a bit bad as I ordered something and they gave me something else and also they run out of stock in like 1 hour!
Got my foreskin diamond encrusted in D block Toilets, couldn't be happier
