We are a general dental, implant & orthodontic centre for all ages. Conveniently open after hours Tuesday & Thursday as well as by appointment on Saturday.

Story

Dr Adam Bradshaw is our Principal Dentist at Jacaranda Family Dental.

Adam is one of six children and he spent the vast majority of his childhood in Townsville. Following high school, he moved to Brisbane and began a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland.

Upon graduating as a dentist Adam has worked in a number of private dental practices across Queensland. Locations include Noosa, Indooroopilly, Rockhampton and Kingaroy. He has also given his time to mentor students at the University of Queensland.

Adam has a keen interest in implant dentistry and has completed postgraduate training through the Brener Implant Institute in Sydney. This offered the most progressive, well documented, evidence-based approach with intensive, hands on training to make implant placement safe and predictable. Adam also thoroughly enjoys providing orthodontic treatment to his patients.

Having always planned on owning and managing his own dental practice, this came to fruition in 2014. His philosophy is traditional to the core - to provide thorough and high quality dental treatment which encompasses all modern principles and techniques.

Outside of the surgery Adam enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking to bring happiness to others and playing with his loveable dogs, Doug and Penny [the pugs!].

Dr Jessica Powell is our Associate Dentist and began with us in January 2016. Having lived and worked in rural NSW for a number of years, she made the decision to move to sunny Queensland in early 2016. She has a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry and enjoys treating all age groups.

Professional, kind, caring environment - this is my experience at Jacaranda Family Dental. I have had my regular clean appointments & love the feeling of smooth super clean teeth, it's always gentle which is a huge plus. I have also had a crown on a back molar that had previously had root canal treatment from a specialist. This tooth is better than it's ever been, one appointment all done! I had a good look at the tooth when I got home & it's such a seamless job - you can't even tell where the crown is & the colour match is perfect, Adam's attention to detail is brilliant :) I have also been using the take home whitening kit which I love & had many comments on my "nice white teeth" I just do a top up every few months - so worth it! My two kids are also patients are Jacaranda & happily have their check up & cleans. Without hesitation I can highly recommend Jacaranda Family Dental  :)

A big thumbs up to Adam, Sam and all the wonderful staff at Jacaranda Family Dental! Over the course of the past 18 months it's been a pleasure to be treated by all the caring and compassionate team members that give their best day-in and day-out! A great service which I found amazing was the option of Sleep Dentistry! I had both my bottom wisdom teeth taken out with Dr. Adam & Dr. Vivian who is the practice's visiting anesthetist and can't fault them one bit! Being able to be asleep for such a procedure was such a relief and I felt completely at ease in their care. The follow up phone call to see how I was going the day after was a nice surprise and all appointments that I've had since then have been nothing short of amazing. The staff are always happy to answer any questions that I may have and have such an impressive way of explaining things in a really understanding way. 

Thank you for all that you do for the people of Gympie, we're really lucky to have you!

THE best dentist to go to! Their customer service is flawless, friendly, helpful and professional!  Facilities are spotless and fresh and you even get to watch David Attenborough while you're getting your treatment. Plus a care pack to take home. One stop shop for clean, healthy teeth and gums, by people who genuinely care about you.

I started working at Jacaranda Family Dental in November 2016 as a Receptionist. I honestly can't fault the team. It has been awesome to work for Adam and Sam and alongside the other people who make up the Jacaranda Team. The support and love given by Adam and Sam is amazing. I came to Jacaranda Family Dental with no experience what-so-ever in regards to Dentistry and have learnt so much already. I have been given the opportunity to study my Certificate III in Dental Nursing and loving it. The care that is given to all of our patients is genuine and honest. Being able to attend the 2017 Gympie Chamber of Commerce awards night with the whole Jacaranda team was  great and made even more memorable to be walking away with the "Best Customer service award" for 2017. It was fantastic to be able to share that moment with the whole team. It's also a lovely feeling when the frequently asked question on Facebook is "Who is the best dentist in town" and Jacaranda Family Dental gets a high response and lovely comments. 
Being apart of the Jacaranda Family Dental team is wonderful, we are more than a team, we are a family.
