It was my first time to stop at Jacana today evening SundaynOne of the most scariest places, I will not recommend anyone, specially women to get off this stop and walk home. Never been there but Melbourne Railway Videos recently Dec 2023 did a YouTube video on the Top 10 Worst Melbourne Train Stations, and Jacana was the winner. At this point, Melbourne has 222 railway stations, so being named the #1 Worst is quite an achievement!

Not good access. There's only one entrance to the platform and it's hard on people with disabilities injuries. There's hardly any shelter, no service displays, no speakers outside of the tiny sheltered area for service announcements. And the cctv seems to miss half the platform and definitely doens't get the carpark.nGranted, there is a big planter box filled with rubbish and rainwater which is nice.nAnyway after having my tyres slashed in the carpark while I was at work yesterday, I won't be using this station again. I'll drive to Glenroy station from now on.
Probably one of the worse stations on Melbourne's network. The platforms are really narrow, not many places to sit, no toilets, no information screens to alert about arriving trains, hard to access.
