Not so good The food is average at best for example the tofu and greens dish said asparagus but none on the plate, the gf fish cakes were rubbery, the massman curry was a thin overly sweet gruel with two large but undercooked lamb Shanks and a roti soaking in the sauce. The rest of the food was bland and unappetizing except for the pork which was delicious. I would have given 2 stars except for the cockroach running around on the table next to us. The staff were difficult to understand and lacked knowledge of the food. Oh and the empty entree dishes were left on our table until just prior to serving mains. Not a pleasant experience.
While the food is amazing in terms of taste, I was disatisfied with the customer service as the wait time between order and receiving food was rather long despite the night not being busy. Also, they brought out the main dishes 10 minutes before the fried rice and rice dices. Since change of ownership they have changed their dishes to be 85% vegetables and almost no meat at all. Simply unacceptable for the reputation they held.
We rang and paid for the order before 5 where told the the order would take 40 mins to cook and deliver that's perfectly reasonable The order was delivered but the order was wrong we ordered barbecued chicken and sticky rice. In its place was a soup we called the resteraunt and explained Oh but we were wrong you did not order chicken you ordered soup. We will send your your chicken but you will have to pay No amount of explanation got through to the resteraunt lady on the other end of the phone. WE were wrong The curry ordered was cold when it arrived and it was supposed to be medium hot. This dish was cold when it was delivered and it was tasteless The chicken arrived eventually this dish was hot and I'm told was delicious Please treat your customers better
This place was very good.Must have new owners A group of us went last night and ordered banquet received entrees quickly and then had to wait nearly an hour for rest Curried chicken had four pieces of chicken and a drumstick.Staff were very uncooperative when we asked for it to be sliced so we could share. Rice was cold and gluggy Overall a very poor experience and would not recommend this place as it is so different from what it was. Never again
Last night we ordered 4 dishes via the Menulog app. We received a text message at 7.20pm to say our order would be delivered by 8:15pm. At 8:30 I called the restaurant to see how long our order would be, they said 5 minutes. 9pm our order arrived, it was all cold and the soft shell crab had gone soggy. No sorry or explanation from the delivery driver or the restaurant. Really really bad service and a cold soggy meal.. not good! Won't be ordering from here again.
We always order delivery here and the food is tasty, we decided to actually dine in the restaurant and were super impressed. Service is great, food is fresh and super tasty, good size portions, and the price is very reasonable. Would highly recommend this local gem.
Unbelievably terrible service. Never had such a bad experience with a restaurant in my life. I would give it zero stars if that were possible. Ordered delivery for food at 6pm, 2hrs later and it still hadn't arrived estimated delivery time was 7.20pm. When I called to check where the food was, they said the delivery guy couldn't find the place. No phone call to let us know or to ask for further details. We've also had food delivered from this place multiple times before! When the delivery guy eventually arrived he didn't even have the food so we asked for a refund which they refused to give. Instead they offered a 20% discount for "next time". What a joke. There will never be a next time after this experience. I will also be contacting fair trading about this as we never got our refund. Also important to note that when we threatened to call the police, the delivery guy literally ran away. Might need to do a background check on the staff there too.
I agree with the reviewer called Jeff. I am a local of over 20 years and his place used to be very good..but unfortunately no more. I ordered takeaway on the 20th March 2018 on menu log . Satay chicken, pork in plum sauce and steamed rice. Said it would be ready for pick up in 20 minutes. I arrived at the given time and my meal had not even been cooked yet. There were 6 people in total sitting in the restaurant. I was then asked to sit and wait... I sat.. and waited...and waited....and waited. 1 hour and 20 mins later sitting on a side stool in a restaurant on my own feeling lots of things..but mainly feeling hungry and thinking 'WHAT THE!?? I was told my dinner wad ready. No apology. I paid and was expecting a discount or something extra in my food bag for the inconvenience..but no. Then I got home to all the plum sauce in the bottom of the bag..so I did get something extra in the bag after all they decided to use a chinese container lid cut in half that had half the dish exposed huh???. Then the satay chicken..no joke, had 1 teaspoon in size of satay sauce plonked in a dish that was 3 times the size but had a lid that was complete and did fit, yay!..so I then had to scrape the dish with the chicken to actually get some sauce. Duck was dry..what a suprise..and so was the chicken. Well done...NOT! Huge shame..it used to be lovely. Please listen... don't go.
Our favourite Thai restaurant in Gladesville, and for miles around. The menu goes far beyond the usual suburban standards, with some stand out specialities. The standard spiciness is not 'thai hot' but can be ordered as such. Friendly service with plenty of smiles, of course
We used to love food from this place but their quality is deteriorating exceptionally. Ordered a Pad Cha sauce with veggies and it’s so extremely spicy that we can’t even eat. The staff didn’t care much, just ended the call saying “sorry”.
