This is Thai flavoured white food to Thai food. Pappaya salad with no fish sauce? Pad see ew with boc Choi? Serious $18 for a salad really?? Never again if you want real Thai food stay away from this place
Disappointed Pad See Ew noodles were overcooked and broken and veggies soggy. Had to be eaten with a spoon. Pad Thai veggies were also overcooked. This was the best Thai in G’ville. Still had the best curry puffs ever but need to pick up its game. Will be back again, but will need to lift to retain #1 Thai in G’ville
Made a delivery order from the restaurant over phone on 20th March at 7.14 pm. What we ordered: 1.Thai Green Curry with Vegetables Vegetarian 2. Penang Curry with Mixed Seafood 3. Vegetarian Spring Rolls 4. Steamed Rice. At the time of ordering we reconfirmed the order and my rice was part of the order. We were told that it will take about an hour for the order to be delivered. Couple minutes after ordering, restaurant called and said that they forgot to add the delivery fee and asked to pay driver in cash. Delivery was prompt and on time as promised. When I opened my order, the rice was missing. I called the driver and he confirmed that that was all the order that was given to him by the restaurant. I called restaurant to check and they said Rice wasn't part of the order at all. Quality of the food received: Penang Curry: On top it looked somewhat like Penang Curry, on the bottom of the container was a whole lot of water. Green Curry: Spicy thin and watery. Lacked richness, felt and tasted like watered down version of green curry. Post Edits: Called restaurant again after opening the food containers and they asked to send pictures and then offered refund for Penang Curry. But refund does not resolves anything, as they spoiled my dinner.
Great food and good service, reasonably priced, very comfortable setting. Enjoyed a fine macchiato afterwards while my friend enjoyed a lovely panna cotta for dessert. Revisited again and added a couple of entree pics of calamari and duck pancakes.
We liked the place. Authentic Thai food and Desserts. Amazing Black Sesame Icecream with sticky rice was the highlight of my meal. Only downside was that the service was a bit slow. Afterall it is s busy restaurant!! A must try!!
I ordered 2 curries and received 2 police bowls, the curry sauce wasn’t provided separately and what I received had a tiny amount of sauce poured into bowls of rice & vegetables which had been absorbed. The rice was still dry. When I rang to ask for separate sauce, the people were were rude and said I’d waited too long to collect it. I ordered by Uber eats, live 3 mins away according to Google maps and collected it immediately. I Will never order from here again & don’t recommend to others. The food is awful, not what I ordered, not prepared in accordance with industry standard & the customer service was appalling.
Eating here for the second time. Food has been consistently good, so was the service the first time. Today I had a waitress who is quite rude. I had to pick up my own menu, help myself with extra napkin. Food still good. The fresh coconut I ordered was very old and top was attached. Very hard to eat. The waitress insisted I had to drink all the juice before they would cut the top off. Very weird. Definitely not enjoying my visit here today.
I have eaten blue chilli a few times and each time I remember how disappointed I was with the previous order! Since it’s my local Thai, I really want to love it. The food lacks any real flavour. Pad Thai and Currys taste really watered down.
Have had lunch here a couple of times. Haven’t seen much staff but the one I’ve seen knows very well how to do her job. Food is really good. They take order really well and make sure to remember who ordered what plate. Thanks for being really good at what you do! Cheers
Had a good experience here. Meals were tasty and reasonably priced. All ingredients were fresh and the beef in the green curry beef was top notch. Lots of takeaway meals going out the door too while we were there. Will definitely be back.
