I’m almost lost for words about how fabulously wonderful this place is. The decor is exquisite and the layout was just right. We were greeted and served throughout by friendly and courteous staff. The food is absolutely delicious and didn’t leave me bloated as other similar restaurants have. I even had dessert which is a rarity for me. Online booking was simple and straightforward via their website. After we took a little drive up to Mt Coot-tha to gaze over the beautiful city lights. Dietary restrictions: We chose Its Mirchi many years ago because they cater for special dietary requirements.
The traditional Indian food was good, not great. Very similar to all other Indian places. No wow factor or anything special to stand out. The best dish was the Tawa mushrooms. We paid close to $90 for our meals without any drinks, so a bit pricey tbh, as we have had better meals for less price at other restaurants. Overall good!
My partner and I have been on the hunt for good Indian in Brisbane for such a long time and last night we were not disappointed!! It’s Mirchi gave us such a wonderful dining experience from the beautiful service to complimentary rice to the delicious, authentic Indian flavours… we were amazed! It’s so hard to find healthy but delicious Indian cuisine but wow, what a fantastic job! We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family and will be making It’s Mirchi our regular Indian date night spot!! Can’t wait to come back.
This place is AMAZING. After trying many Indian restaurants around Brisbane and being a vegetarian I’ve had many average and even some terrible experiences. Reviews looked great so we thought we’d give it a try. My girlfriend & I were blown away by the food quality, the flavour and how reasonable the price was at It’s Mirchi Healthy Indian. Definitely one of the best experiences we’ve had! Customer service was 10/10 and they even gave us complimentary rice for free even though we didn’t order it. The staff were so polite & friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I think we’ve found our new favourite place to eat!

It’s Mirchi is the best curry for miles around! Highly recommend. We love the cauliflower rice option as a bit of a change. Food and service is top notch.
Attention to detail. The owners of this restaurant clearly care about what they do. From the range of clearly presented healthier options, generous consideration of those with dietary requirements through to the use of breast chicken in the Children’s Butter Chicken. Everything has been thought through clearly, with fresh ingredients and flavour that packs a punch. The locals are lucky to have this restaurant on their doorstep. For those on holiday like us, the not-so-traditional Pina Colada is amazing as well!
We will be coming back next time we visit from Melbourne. There is a clear sense of pride in the food shared by all staff. And rightfully so, the food tasted incredible and is healthy with no compromise to flavour. We had a great selection of varying spice levels with accurate descriptions. The menu is easy to understand and the staff provided polite and friendly clarification when needed. Food came out fast and fresh. The service was prompt and friendly in an inviting atmosphere where the acoustics allow for conversation.
Had date night here last night and picked this restaurant on a whim. The service, atmosphere and food were amazing! We got garlic naan, rice, daal makhni & lamb kadai. A wide range of gluten free dishes that tasted great. Gluten free garlic naan. Options for organic or free range meat. No sugar is used in the dishes! The woman at the front of house was lovely and very helpful. A good wine list. I think likely that those with celiac can comfortably eat here.
