We stayed here for 3 nights over the school holidays with2 kids and 2 small pets. The owners were so welcoming and nothing was a problem. It was quiet and the view was spot on. We will definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5
I had the most wonderful stay with island view motel, we booked last minute and was arriving late at night, Chris was very helpful over the phone, he put the aircon on for us so when we arrived the room would be cold as we walked in and popped the key in a safe for us. Could not have asked for a kinder host would rate a 10/5 if possible. Thank you again <3
Honestly couldn't of been happier with our stay. We rang late afternoon after our camping trip had the weather beat us. Chris and Lucy were so welcoming, there vibe and energy was just what we needed. Even better our little furbaby was welcomed to! The room was perfect and the view even better! It had everything we needed, aircon was lovely and the pool was just perfect. Chris was even happy to take the time to talk to us about the local attractions and must do's, for a tourist this is a huge plus! A big Thank you to you both of you plus Jack and Jill for running such a beautiful, down to earth Motel! I encourage anyone who is reading this and thinking about staying to do so you won't regret it :
My stay at the Island View Motel was fantastic, Breakfast was simple yet delicious and Chris {owner}, always accomadating great for a chat. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Well worth the Stay! Thanks Chris.Rooms: 5/5
Our room was spotlessly clean. Owners can't do enough to help. Our little dog was welcomed. Sparkling pool. We have used this motel before and will definitely be using it again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful experience.Rooms: 5/5
Room 10..worst room. NO l AIRCONDIONER it was set to some cycle and started to cool at 2am..the people next to us complained of this also.. NO WIF NO RECEPTION AFTER 5pm to help us rectify No smart TV & No chanels worked. No cutlery or plates and even though they charged a family room We only got 2 mugs in the room. No microwave. The Parking floods & we had a down pipe set up to drain over the walkway.. unsafe I thought. Bins collected at 6am very load The dogs onsite are off leash and unfriendly. NO CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO MY PHONE BOOKING. NO INSTRUCTIONS ON AIRCON OR TV. LOVELY RECEPTION and the POOL WORKED so did the view from reception. The garden rooms d ont have any views, pay the extra for the view & check that WIFI & Aircondioner work before booking. I would not use this as overnight stop, too many things didntbwork and for one night not worth it.
Hubby and I spent a night in room 34, which looks out across the carpark and the sea was so worth it. The room has everything you could need. A fully self contained kitchen for those preferring to cook and eat at home, a family round table and chairs inside of your room or just sit in the corridor and enjoy the peaceful Seaview. TV and WiFi is g8. Bathroom is well equipped with shower gel,shampoo and conditioner. Whilst the basin is also well stocked with shaving cream,hand lotion and hand soap. An impressively very clean setup complimented by fluffy white towels. We opted for an early start and as long as you order by 8pm your breakfast will be served at your am time of choice in the dining area with a stunning Seaview the next morning. We had the bacon and eggs on toast with brewed coffee at $42 for a couples breakfast is very worth it. Freshly prepared and well cooked. The host Chris is very accomdating, We watched Toni his wife pruning and working in the gardens, great job lady we will definitely be back. Faraway from the huzbuz of town but close enough to everything you may need Rooms: Everything you need home away from home
Had a great stay at Island View Motel. It was last minute requirement late in afternoon and they were so welcoming and the room and facilities were great. Would highly recommend
Nice motel and stunning views if you get one of those rooms, but there was no internet connection. They said the fibre optic cable was "broken" but in the room it was written in the material that you should ask them for the password. Almost all places provide the password automatically, which leads me to believe that they don't provide internet connection for guests and then make up dodgy excuses when they ask for the password. I could also see in the available internet connections on my laptop that "IVM Guest" had a working signal. Pretty poor and cast a negative on what was other a lovely place to stay.
Lovely My 2 puppies had plenty of room and the bathroom had extra large Queen size bath towels…a bonus The views were to die for and area was very quiet and tranquil Will come againRooms: 5/5
