I love my visits to Ishka. Always something new to see and constant sales make it too good not to buy. So lucky to have an Ishka store in town still. Go in, have a browse, you'll be welcomed by the beautiful staff every time.
I've recently moved from New Zealand, my god mother had told me about this store. I'm now in Portland. Must say it's a favourite and I would be highly upset if they were to close down. Beautiful staff. Beautiful vibes and just an all round beautiful store.
I was visiting Warrnambool from out of town, walking around the city in search of some gemstone earrings, when I came across an Ishka store. Perfect, I thought. I wondered into the store, where not a staff member was in sight. On my own, I was able to identify not only what I came into the store to buy, but a couple of other trinkets given that there was a sale. After a bit more browsing, a staff member, talking loudly on her phone, to what sounded like a fellow Ishka employee, strolled out, scowling, 'no one cares about our sale, no one is seeing the signs, its all very depressing.' I took my items over to the counter to pay, where the woman had begun leaning against the wall opposite the counter, still on her phone, ignoring me. I stood at the counter and then walked around at alternating intervals for about 10minutes, waiting for acknowledgement. Then I gave up, altogether, sad about not being able to make a purchase. Today, I have seen on the news that the entire business is in turmoil. If there are staff as hopeless as the one I encountered at your Warrnambool store, I am not at all surprised. Two stars for having a great range of products at excellent prices, however lost 3 stars for not being able to make a sale when it staring you in the face.
This store has a beautifully eclectic range of products from all around the globe. I purchased a Salt Lamp and a beautiful Bindi that I have worn several times. The staff are kind, attentive and helpful.
Drove all the way over from Portland today to by some dresses and you were closed. Not happy Jan. Your website says your open Sundays but your sign on the door says closed Sunday and Monday. Maybe update your website hours.
Perfect service from karenlyn right down to the gift bag we needed. So going to miss this store. It's my go to for all my gifts. A huge 10 out of 10 from me.
This is a fantastic little "Hidden Gem" of Warrnambool. It has a great selection of products, well worth the visit. Staff were friendly & welcoming, making your experience a relaxing & enjoyable one.
Beautiful shop, amazing high class staff - I went to Warrnambool ishka in search of bookends and was lucky enough to be served by a girl named Ivana who helped me find the pefect ones, not only did she help me to find the perfect item, she then called around to locate the item as Warrnambool's shop was out of them and had to deal with what we can only assume was a very untrained staff member who was very unwilling to help from a Melbourne store with whom I would not have found the patience to tolerate but not only did she persist in a professional manner she managed to get onto another staff member and help me pay for my item and organise the store to put it aside to be picked up. I am very thankful to Ivana for her above and beyond help
I grew up in warrnambool amd everytime i visit home i visit ishka. It always smells fantastic! And they always have those unique awesome little things that i just LOVE. Ive been known to sit on the floor and go through the incense and just buy a BUNCH lol Anyway. 5 star store. Definitely deserves a visit if you havent been in yet.
