Story

Iona Medical Centre is committed to promoting health, wellbeing and disease prevention to all patients. We do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with dignity and respect.

Iona Medical Centre was established in 2001 by a group of local General Practitioners who relocated their individual practices to our current location thus continuing the building's long history as a medical establishment.

My first and last visit to this medical centre. Front desk staff very lovely and helpful. Waited over an hour to see Dr ####, and she prescribe completely different medication I had previous been on with my doctor down south. The doctor didn't agree, even though I explain it was working for me. Dr ##### asked a few questions, and then proceeded to tell me what SHE thinks is best, even though no examination or test were done. Decided to get a second opinion, before taking new medication, very fortunate I did. Lucky, another doctor at another practice picked up on error. Never returning

Been coming here since Dr Reid. Such a shame he retired. Has never been the same again. We have moved to a different practice and wow, so caring and they bulk bill.

Always nice staff to deal with. Nice waiting room and bookings for appointments can be completed online.

Pathetic! Made an appointment to see dr Poppi, booking all confirmed went to the appointment to be told "oh we have you here only we're not taking new patients could it wait until next week" was called ONCE yesterday which I missed it due to work for my appointment to be cancelled. Take down online bookings if you won't take on new patients!!!!

Had an issue with my foot, doctor didn't know what he was doing hardly even inspected it, antibiotics should be good enough, literally there a minute and sent me out the door. Don't see dr Daniel.
