A pleasant trip across the cook strait.  A well appointed ferry that handled the seas comfortably

Outstanding service, friendly professional staff and surprisingly modern and totally adequate interor areas. Licenced  cafetarias and premium options for travellers that want high end comfort the Kaiarahi was a very pleasnt experience all round. Both from a passenger perspective and also the return trip to relocate a coach the staff and entire operation were faultless. Excellent!!

Traveling from christchurch to tauranga papamoa to install granite benchtops 1am start got picton 6am boarded the interisland kaiarahi Awesome set up everyone who worked on there were super awesome, had a hearty breakfast and just kicked back and enjoyed the view

Amazing trip through the sound's  great service.nThe delay was just incredible

Lovely and helpful check-in staff. Which was great, especially for a nervous first-timer like myself. There is a toilet and coffee trailer in the vehicle queuing lanes and a spot to exercise and toilet dogs before the voyage.
