We got the lamb shoulder and the veggie balls, which were both pretty good, although kinda dry. The amount of couscous looked so much larger on the photo, at least double. Pretty stingy, or maybe they were running low. The yummy elderberry soda almost makes up for it.
I don't know why that has to remove all the kids' cutlery and plates. Seems like IKEA doesn't want kids to eat there. It's not safe for kids, and it may cause more chaos for themselves if kids break or get hurt from the adults' cutlery and plates. People need to clean up their own table, IKEA needs to put a few more signs with different languages so people don't have excuses for not taking their own plates to the right place.
Place good for short visits, cannot stay long time as busy there and noisy. But food affordable low price. Drinks you can refill free anytime any amount. Place not so much clean but not bad.
I didn’t enjoy foods at Ikea restaurant at all. Meatballs was much better and more eatable than Salmon plate. All foods including vegetable sides had no taste. I felt like I am having food in an Aged care facility. However, the place was so clean and friendly staff was cleaning the tables all the time.nnThanks
Honestly, I really can’t complain too much considering we went on half price Fridays. We got the baked salmon and meatballs for less than $15 total which is a steal! But, in an honest review of the food, I will say that the meatballs were kinda bland. The baked salmon was dry which was expected since it was just sitting in a warming dish until being served. The couscous salad it came with was good though, and it definitely helped cut the dryness of the salmon when you have them together. Considering the price point it is all acceptable. ALSO - love the $2.50 unlimited coffee refills
