The food was great overall and the service was relatively quick.nKingfish sashimi: Very fresh, fantastic balance of flavours.nTempura prawns: prawns were tender and the tempura batter was crispy.nHanoi pork hock curry: delicious flavours, the skin was crispy and the meat was super tender.nCoconut rice: Very fragrant and sweet. Could've been a bit saltier for better balance.nBeef salad: Way too sweet.. it was like eating a dessert. Would be nice if it was fresher.nOverall a good experience!
*** Disappointing Service Experience ***nMy experience at this restaurant tonight was extremely disappointing. While the food itself was decent, the service was abysmal. We were rushed throughout the entire meal, with the staff informing us just 45 minutes after arriving that we only had 20 minutes left at the table. This made us feel incredibly rushed and unable to fully enjoy our dining experience.nnTo add to the frustration, our cocktails arrived at the same time as our main course, and even worse, our entree were served after our main dishes. This lack of coordination and attention to timing completely ruined what should have been a pleasant Friday night outing.nnOverall, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the poor service experience alone, despite the food being satisfactory.
We sat outside. Chairs were wobbly. No backrest.nnSashimi was good.nnPad Thai was terrible. All sloppy and chicken wasn’t edible.nnMarket fish was hard to eat and fishy. No taste of flavour.nnCocktails average.nnWe won’t be back.
We. Are for a lunch celebration. Like the artwork on the walls. Efficient staff. The roti was yum, Kingfish had some punch and was tasty, whole fish, wonton and Chinese broccoli were good but not great.
The banquet is great value. Food came out quick and hot. Absolutely delicious. One thing though the service did seem rushed. Would have been nice to have a break between courses.
