I read the last few negative reviews and audibly laughed: cashiers and staff who work around the clock probably also juggling studying and or families to look after etc are not here to chat to us customers; they are working to do a job efficiently and they do. It is not anyone's prerogative to owe a conversation let alone you'd be holding up the queue... boomers; if you want a conversation go across the road to a pub or any local store or the park across the road too- or heck, call a friend or family member to chat... why is it also a cashiers job to double as your therapist or chat bot.. seriously what kind of bs criticism is that?nI'm 36 and started working in customer service and hospitality age 15 during school and during studying and I did it as a way to get paid not to be a therapist- which is now a different story but nevertheless- I am also 7th generation Australian and I am from a close-knit positive community too and I also know that no one i pay money to owes me anything beyond the service description and to demand that of the young staff and take photos of them without consent is outright disgusting behaviour; heck- I wouldn't want to converse with such creeps taking my photo either had everyone been stalking me as a cashier and waitress in my teens and early 20s... that is creepy and boundaries crossed.nnThe one star reviews are so unwarranted and I feel the need to level the scales and bring perspective.nI'm a northbridge inner city living, perth born woman and I absolutely do not agree with harassing staff anywhere, or saying they are rude.. they are always professional and polite.. anyway ill cut it short :p ... this iga is awesome and I'm sorry the staff has to deal with such harassment. They handle it with class.nBest food too and amazing service, kind people... maybe because I am kind to them, it goes both ways after all ! Pro tip
The two cashiers are the most amazing cashiers I’ve ever seen. They are so nice and polite and that saved me from my trauma. I recently lost my daughter and they reminded me my lovely girl. Thank you, North Bridge IGA
I visit here quite often. Parking is provided and readily available during most days with free 45 minutes ticket parking. You practically can find almost 99% necessary items that you need in this shop. However, special mention for their ready made cold and hot lunches. Ranging from asian food, burger, chips, pasta, wraps, rolls, salad and fruit salad. You can also have some bakery items as well. Price is reasonable and you are spoiled for choices. Staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Place is lively and have a good foot traffic.
Problem is the staff.. stand at the tills and they are more interested in their phones. Never say hi, never ask if you want a bag, not even a smile. I come in 3-4 times a week and its always different staff that just dont care.
Tricky to find, signage not clear,had to go through a underground carpark for entry, shop was great! Fully stocked in all sections, alot of very fresh food in the deli section & hot box, very clean store, plenty of staff serving
