Honestly when u guys 1st opened it was kept clean and organised and the shop didn't smell of rotten fruit and veg but now the place is filthy and smells the o ly good part of the IGA is the butcher only reason I go to u guys I went there today and honestly look at this how can you SELL this sort of veggies like this this is why the shop Smells bad it's not a very nice welcoming when u get a big swift of rottern stuff
Good sized IGA. It was originally well-run with a bakery and liquor section. Since then I think it’s onto its second owner. It’s poorly stocked, with items missing, the bakery section shuttered and the liquor section removed.nnThe almond milk I bought had been sticky taped to keep the cap on. Pretty sure that’s not legal. I don’t know why anyone would go here. It’s depressing.
I've lived in the area for years and had never been. I saw a post on the Glenroy FB page talking about the great meat pricesnnI checked it out recently and I was so amazed. Fresh meat at great prices! The deli including Olives, Cheese etc was so good. Thank you IGA for providing great prices to the community
This IGA is a little hard to find as it's located in a small back street. It has had a complete facelift and is now a spacious and well presented supermarket. Well worth a visit.nAs of July 1 it is under new ownership. The store has a lot going for it and is worth a visit. The downside is that the store can only be accessed by back roads.
The fruits are of good quality and fresh.
