Great staff, great shop, and best rewards card i have found. Its really well worth having.
This supermarket can be relied on to be open almost every day of the year. Albany is renowned for not having their businesses open during peak public holiday times or during winter. Why this happens is beyond my comprehension as we are supposed to be a 'tourist' destination, however IGA near Stirling Terrace has always catered to visitors & 'locals' alike. They have a dedicated staff who do their best to cater to those visitors who find that the 'big name' supermarkets are closed during weekends, particularly Sundays.
Polite, friendly staff. Good selection of local produce.
Best IGA in Albany.nGreat range of products and they don't rip you off.
If your see an expiration tag on something that usually has a tag on it from the company that made it such as salami. It's off. This is a changeable thing. 9 times out of 10 the food I've brought has been of good quality. Just not that one Salami eh.
