We need to cut off part of the padding of shoe to fit an orthopaedic insole. The team did an amazing job. They did not cut away half of the passing but shaved off leaving the full passing face so that it will not slip. Thankful for the constructive advice and great service.
I have uneven leg lengths as a result of surgery. They are exceptionally good at installing the lifts i have needed. General shoe repair and repairs on my leather handbag are very good. Prices very reasonable.
I can’t possibly express how amazing and talented Ideal Shoe Repairs are. They have an amazing and friendly group of staff, prime location, and 25-30 years of expertise. I first came in 2019 with a broken zipper on the on the pair pictured. After looking around, I managed to source the original creator based in Taiwan. I imported them, and asked about 8 different shops, all of them saying they were unable to repair them because they had no experience with mechanism complexity. After nearly giving up, Idea Shoe Repairs accepted the challenge and ended up doing an amazing job with it! Took it back just today day for a minor amendment, which they remembered the original repair, and it was the same professional and knowledgeable service. Great pricing too! Will always be coming back here for repairs and alterations!
Richard and crew did a great job of resoling 32 year old Dayton motorcycle boots, as well as new soles and some stitching on the quarters of similar age Rossi bush boots. Highly recommended. They know their stuff.
I came in with my suede knee high boots that kept falling down. They made an adjustment on the spot which fixed the problem immediately! Highly recommend! 10/10 service!

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. My vintage Rossi mulga boots had a blow out and I was certain they were going to tell me they would be irreparable.... well they fixed them and I've had no problems since years on. Last week I dropped in a pair of purple made in England Doc Martens that I wanted dyed black.... Picked them up today and they are so perfectly black. Not a patch of purple to be seen...... They are well beyond my expectations. Thanks heaps These guys are honest and reliable.
I was impressed with the repair of the stitching and broken strap of my Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag which saved me from sending my bag to LV interstate to be assessed - likely to be told that it would be unrepairable and to purchase a new bag because of its age that I returned to Richard to have the soles of my Ferragamo replaced. To give you an idea, my Sissi wedges literally looked like it was time to invest in a new pair as it was falling apart. Richard offered to restore the leather back to the original colour and showed me a sample, which I was glad he did, because it far exceeded my expectation at a reasonable price. Richard and the the team have provided excellent service and someone you can trust with your designer items. I hope this review assists others like me finding a repairer to trust with your designer goods. Once the repair or work has been done, it can’t be undone. Thank you again Richard and the team!
