Tasty food. Large serves. Great service. Huge bar. Great surroundings of Hillary's Boat Harbour. Belly Pork was cooked to perfection. Fish and Chips were great too. Friendly staff, keen to oblige. If you are fond of Ribs and BBQ stuff, this is the place to visit. There is a room upstairs as well, if you would like to have a function or gathering. Clean, well maintained rest rooms.
My wife and I went there for dinner We shared a Garlic Bread Then I had the 350 g Rump Steak well done which was on the tough side and she had Grilled Barramundi. The fish was fresh. The service was good. We also shared an Ice Cream dessert. A generous helping of ice cream
These guys are great!! Could not be any happier with the service the seatings and the food + drinks I went there with my partner we got 2 meals And a starter the starter was so good i did not even get time to take a photo before it was gone I got ribs with chicken it was perfectly cooked and the chips were spot on My partner got a burger it was very well presented and it was a juicy and tender nice burger They have a large variety off drinks to and really cool coctails I will never have a problem paying for quality food even though it wasnt that expensive I recommend for people to try this place its really worth a go Thanks to all the staff for all there great efforts I will never have a problem to go back there again Thanks for reading my reviews guys and i hope it helps
Got to say, I had high expectations coming here given I've had such great experiences in the past at the original Sydney branch. The pork rib rack I had tasted ok, but it was a definitely bit dry. In the end, it didn't feel like ribs that I would come back for

Bottle beer was flat either bottle compromised or dirty glass ordered pork ribs very lazy did not even remove sinew from back of ribs you would expect that for the price of a half serve @ $38 very average meal indeed
Meat lover's will delight! Not so much to our liking. Pricey and wife dish, the meat was chewy. Kids meals were good. Rack it up as a lesson learnt.
Delicious food! I've been here a couple of times now with friends and everyone loves their food!
We have visited this restaurant before with overseas friends although not since a change of name however the menu has been retained so we looked forward to getting the special hanging steak meal. We were disappointed with the meals, the steak was very tough and when I asked about the steak I was told “It’s Rump steak, you need to chew it” and “what steak do you eat at home” in the context that a more expensive steak would be easier to eat. Well to be honest, paying $42 for a kebab skewer of steak and a portion of chips “Is” expensive and there is no excuse for this poor quality of steak at that price. My guest was unable to eat her steak as she was unable to chew through the steak and also struggled to cut it, to the point she began to feel sick. The restaurant to their credit offered her another meal which due to feeling sick she could not face, a sweet was offered and this was eaten by one of the kids at our table. My wife stated the toilets were not good and smelt terrible. The kids fish & chips was good which lifted my feedback to 2 stars. We used to love visiting this restaurant location with our UK friends and overlooked the cost but that will not be repeated. If they make changes, let me know otherwise I will stay clear of this restaurant when there are so many others where you can spend your hard earned money.
If you're just going for ribs and are able bodied, this place is for you - and if all I was reviewing it for was ribs, I'd give it 3-4 stars - but really, able bodied rib eaters is the only demographic they're catering to. Meals: Weirdly, almost all the meat meals don't come with salad as standard, which is crazy when you can order decent steak. Of our table of 6 all chose different meals, only one dish a chicken dish came with a salad and potato side as standard. Additionally, and it seems crazy to me, there's no mashed potato option for steaks. They have it as an purchasable extra side, but even thought it costs the same amount as sweet potato fries, which is one of the standard side choices for the steak menu, they wouldn't let us substitute it. Regarding the non rib meal - for my own, scotch fillet - ordered medium rare. Sadly it was much closer to medium well done - and when all that's your plate is a baked potato and steak, the steak should at least be perfect. Bathrooms: Weirdly for an Australian restaurant in 2018, they didn't have easy access bathrooms, and my wife was told if she wanted one, she'd have to use the public restrooms on the peer Been open all day, 8pm at night - thanks, gross, no thanks. The only bathroom on the premises is up more than 20 stairs, so for my wife who's 7 months pregnant and pretty wobbly on her feet as a result, was a bit rich. Obviously not to mention that anyone with an actual mobility issue preventing the use of stairs would be required to use the public toilets on the peer.
