Absolute gem of a gym. Has all the equipment you need, never had to wait for any equipment - even in peak periods. Very reasonably priced. Steve extremely helpful! Only thing I would say is drop in/email instead of calling, the virtual reception phone doesn’t always work.
Trained here for years. This is "the local" gym with the best atmosphere. Encouraging staff that want you looking and feeling better!
A great gym with easy parking and access to multiple forms of public transport. Very friendly owner, staff and locals who are always happy to have a chat or will leave you alone when you're on a mission. With a smaller footprint than larger gyms, it can get a little busy during peak to be expected at all gyms, but you'll still smash through a workout with ease. You'll note the cleanliness of equipment and respect shown by patrons in putting weights away. Off-peak sessions are a delight and you quite often find you have the gym to yourself or one or two others. Personal Trainers are top notch. The on-site remedial massage treatment available through booking has quite literally brought my banged up body back from the brink of collapse and one-on-one boxing sessions look brutal. Support local and get in for a session at Hurls today.
Overall this gym is excellent. The membership price provides extreme value. There are a large amount of free weights, Olympic bars, and dumbbells that go up to 40kg. The range or weights allows you to put in some quality training. They also have a set of rigs and dip bars to practice body weight training. The staff and trainers are friendly, while the massage therapy is a great way to help fix or prevent injuries. Highly recommend Hurl’s Fitness!
By far the best gym I've ever been to. Can't believe I've wasted so much money in the past on fancy gyms where you can't move for people. It's well equipped, friendly staff and customers and super affordable.
Great gym fantastic training. Open really long hours so it's convenient for morning or night time. Other members are respectful and there is always equipment for my use no waiting around. Clean and all amenities are lovely
This is the best place in Melbourne to achieve your fitness goals. Steve and his team have many years of experience and have pushed me to the levels that no one else has before. Hurl’s fitness has great equipment, is always clean and they get results!
Great gym space which is really well layed out with all the equipment for any type of gym user. Staff are all attentative friendly and helpful. Even when busy there is enough gear that you don't have to wait. Memberships prices are some of the best I've seen.
I came to Hurls with a history of knee problems and Steve and then Ben have helped me identify a path towards resolving these. Over the past two months Ben has guided me firmly but gently along that path and my knees are in as good a shape as they've been for a long time. Kaitlin at Hurls is also helping me with my nutritional goals in the same encouraging manner. There's always an atmosphere of friendliness and encouragement at Hurls and the staff are focussed on doing what's right for you and your long-term health. I look forward to being a long-term Hurls member and highly recommend the gym and the staff. Thanks Ben, Steve and Kaitlin!
Best friendly, safe gym ever. No primadonas and no steroid pushing chumps either. Opposite train, tram and cafes. Never have a problem getting a pt session. Here you achieve all your goals in godspeed
