You can tell they definitely don’t take time to make the food, let alone giving fresh food to their customers. My chips were cold and rock hard, there was next to no lettuce on the burger. My partners burger was burnt to a crisp and rock solid. I have photos but cannot post for some reason.
I dropped into this Hungry Jacks. What caught my eye was that they make the effort to bring the drive through food out to your car as they have no window. The place was clean, the staff were super friendly and it was running very efficiently. Probably the best Hungry Jacks I have been to.
I fell for the advertising & decided to try the Tropical Chicken Burger, Never again, I am still looking for the pineapple which was the smallest slice I have seen for a burger we’re the pineapple is the Tropical ingredient.
First time ordering online for delivery. Food temp was ok for delivery. From ordering to actual delivery the time was excellent, probably about 25 mins when estimated time was 45mins. Our issue, and the reason for only 2 stars, comes from the small mistakes made through the meal. Ordered a standard whopper meal large which arrived as a whopper with cheese meal for a person who can't have cheese atm, and a crispy fried chicken with cheese and bacon large meal, which arrived without the cheese and bacon and very little lettuce. Rang the store, the Manager on Duty, who was very nice about the whole thing, asked me to ring Menulog, who handle the delivery service, although the receipts were correct and stated what we should have gotten, the items themselves, sealed in the bags, were wrong. Called Menulog, got the automated service saying they can't take calls at the moment due to the large number of incoming calls? Called the store back and the Manager took our details and offered to replace the meal the next time we were able to collect. Being an understanding person, I was happy enough with this result, although annoyed as my wife and I are both unable to drive at the moment. TLDR; Below average ordering experience with delivery, wrong items delivered, unable to get replacement straight away due to Menulog not having a system for immediate reporting of issues, friendly and courteous Manager who did the right thing by us as best as she could. If Menulog had a system where I could have instantly logged the issue and had the order picked up and resupplied correctly, this would be a whole different review
Their coffee is always good and they follow instructions unlike Maccas. Burgers are much tastier than Maccas but still room for improvement especially in breakfast menuFood: 4/5
Placed an order through their app and was unable to change my burger the same as when ordering face to face. When picking up the order we were on the verge of being offered a refund due to the ice cream machine being out of order but, another staff member broke in with a big smile and let us know that the machine had just that moment finished being repaired hence the 5 star service. The food was not hot enough and there was no sauce for our nuggets but it was still yummy enough to be o.k. They need to address their ongoing issues with malfunctioning ice cream machines which seem to plague both theirs and their McCompetitors restaurants, as it frequently stops myself and others I know, from even bothering to order anything else if thickshakes and ice cream is not available.
Definitely not the best fast food joint around. Didn't even get served at drive through the other day. But i was just happy not to have to cookFood: 3/5
I so wanted to have a good meal from hungry Jack's but was so disappointed. The meat was burnt on one side and the burger was smal for the price paid. Did not live up to the advertising
No sorry for missing a whole meal from a drive through order. Partner didn’t realise till he got home. Called up, no apology.. great service not
Ordered the angry whopper and it had nearly no onion rings on it.... It was literally one and a half. Was a decent wait and still tasted stale. Avoid this hungry jacks. Poor value
