Went to Palmerston, wanted to grab a quick snack on my drive back in to Darwin. I ordered onion rings and a BBQ cheeseburger, got out onto Roystonea Ave and they didn't put in the cheeseburger. How useless.
Worst I've had in a long time. Not edible. Grilled chicken was way overcooked. I think HJ's days are numbered if they keep this up.
Disappointed... order my brekky with muffins, I repeated three times but still got a wrong order with buns instead. The egg was not freshly made, it was firm and chewed like plastic. Sundae was not ready in the morning as usual : Below picture was egg white that chewed like plastic and I had to take out. That’s disgust!
Checked to see if the Store was open during business hours - Google says it was - Store was empty has happened multiple times or workers are there and won't take my order.
Im so appalled by the quality of the food here, years ago this was the go-to place, and now the food is just horrendous. When the fried chicken burger came out last year it was delicious, the chicken was thick, beautifully cooked and flavoursome. Today I ordered it and it was a thin schnitzel-looking piece of chicken that was over cooked and the cheese was cold. My friend ordered the vegan burger and the pattie was so burnt she couldn't eat it, but when the vegan burger was first sold years ago it was delicious. Its almost as if they just stop caring about the quality of the food overtime. I am so incredibly disappointed at how bad this place has become. I honestly cant believe how they are still allowed to sell this horrendous food not even my dog would eat.
Ordered a large meal and get given a small can of coke, does a small get The same size drinks now??? Best thing about the meal was throwing it in the bin. Tasted like baby powder and salt.
A little hit and miss but mostly good. The one thing that annoys me about this place is their chips.. it’s just one of those little things that isn’t a big deal but it’s enough to piss you off. They do that stingy trick where they don’t completely unfold the packet meaning they don’t have to put as much in it.. not a big deal but it’s sloppy and a dick move by the manager to get their workers to do that.
Burger was colder than the Fanta slushy and was asked what we ordered at the pay window. Surely they should know?
Double party Angus Chicago !! OMG!! Make sure you ordered it fresh and wait for it. Its worth the wait.
