This place is dangerous! Once you start having their curries, you will end up not cooking and longing for their food every day, which is exactly what has happened to us for the past couple of years.  Apart from their very generous portions, the tastes are strong and the curries pack a punch. We rotate between the mushroom and chicken curry, the prawn one, and of course the usual korma and mango curries.  But if you thought they were one-dimensional, you're totally wrong. They also offer fish and chips, along with a number items you'd find on a standard F-and-C menu - hot dogs, nuggets, and a lot more.  In short, this is the best Indian I've had in Palmy for a long, long time.

Saved the day!  I was at another local place that sells gf fish and chips earlier, very overpriced and disappointing.  I came here to Ascot and purchased gf fish, gf chips, and a gf pineapple fritter for around $12 nz dollars.  They brought it out to my car wrapped in lots deli paper which was practical to avoid a mess while eating. Large portions too. How cool, Thanks guys!

This is a must go for fish and chips plus Indian take out. Lots of dietaries catered for too including ceoliac, and vegetarian. Great place for Palmersron North, will def be back.  Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and coeliac

Wonderful friendly service and great food. I've enjoyed everything that I've ever ordered from here - both the takeaways and the curries are really good!  Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, vegetarian options, can ask about allergies incl. nuts, dairy, etc

Really good fish and chips, burgers especially, so good Ascot has reopened, once again Friday night takeaways just a few minutes walk away!

This is the best place for gluten free fish and chips I come here to get gluten free and it’s always super good, especially the chicken nuggets, I recommend this place to everyone : 100/10
